Anyone else struggling with the 6 month supervised diet? Help please
I really don't know what I am doing wrong. I followed the dietician guidelines the first month and exercised and did not lose but gained 3 pounds due to TOM. Now, here I am mid-month and I haven't lost anything yet. When I went for the first weigh in I told the nurse I felt like I was being forced to eat way too much. She told me to eat what I felt comfortable with if it was less food. So I have been, still no loss, what am I doing wrong. I have been using the Tony Little Gazelle for exercise between 30 and 60 minutes a day. I know if I don't lose something thing next weigh in I will be in real big trouble. Should I try protein drinks to lose weight? I don't know what more to do. If so what protein drinks are good? The most I ever lost was from not eating for almost a month.
i haven't had soda in so long .. maybe a year or better. i switched to milk and splenda in my coffee instead of cream and sugar.,, added fruits and veggies to my meals. cut out chips and added salad in its place. and started eating breakfast.. the NUT where i go is great..
any more tips? i'd love them
i am having a hard time getting my a$$ moving on working out
I dont eat many carbs to begin with, and I only drink diet soda some of the time, I never drink regular soda. Most of the time I drink water, I don't drink coffee, although sometimes tea if I am sick, or iced in the summertime. I am working out 2 miles a day on the gazelle and doing some weights also. I don't get what I am doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
I am on my 3rd week of the supervised diet. I joined W Watchers. The first week I lost 2.4, then the next week I gained 2 back. I do fine until evening usually. then I am tempted to cheat. So far I am still within my alloted points.
On mother's day I survived a buffet ( I only went thru the salad bar and fruit bar) only to eat 2 burgers at the cook out at supper. Counting points is working ok.
I made an appt w my GP for every month. My initial surgeon visit is May 31.
What is the reason some have to go on liquid diets???
Tips
I put salad dressing on a saucer, 1 or 2 Tbsp. then dip into it. I am surprised at how little I can get by with.
Count out crackers or snacks and put them in a single serving snack bag, then you won't be tempted to eat more than you are suposed to have.
