I WAS having a good day-

Good hair day- blood sugars are good- peak flow is good- talked to my counselor about fears and family issues and got some super advice-then then phone rings and it is the pulmo's office. Oh, he has cleared me for the surgery, but I have to go see him one more time. I just got my self-esteem back from my 1st visit w/him and now I have go suck up to him for another session of dutifully pointing every negative health issue I have. This is a test- God has an exagerrated opinion of my capacities because of all those padded shoulder suits I wore in the 80's. If this man honks me off too bad I will pull myself up to my full 4'10" and let him know that just because he has MD after his name does not give him the right to dehumanize his patients. I am entitled to be treated in a professional and considerate manner. He will not get the best of me this time! Wish me luck and thanks for listening-Janet K

Janet sweetie... This man sounds like he needs to learn compassion or just bed side manners. Hang in there, it will all be over soon and you will be on your way to a healthier you. Just keep in mind the whole time you are seeing this man that it's worth it for the end result. Yes, God challenges me quite often. He has one heck of a sense of humor. ((Hugs)) Christina

Christina, this man she is talking about does NOT have any bedside manner, he is a t_rd. "U" fill in the blank. He almost pulled the plug on Dave's surgery. He has such a negative opinion about everything. I went to one of Dave's appointments because I wanted to see first hand what he is like and let me tell you he had no personality at all. I do not think that he is pro WLS at all. We have not heard any good things about him at all. Chris

Hang in there!!! My pulmo was the same way. He had me thinking i had hereditary empheysma!! It was nuts but it all worked out
