Happy Friday Illinois!!!

Hey Everybody! We made it thru another work week. Can you tell I've been living for the weekends lately? What's new with everyone? DH is out of town on a golf trip so I'm "single" this week and enjoying some much needed RNR. The City of West Chicago is having their "Downtown Garden Festival" on Saturday from 9a - 3p so I think I'm going to go check it out. They have lots of different entertainment thru out the day. Last Saturday I stopped at the Downtown Wheaton, Market Day Event that they have every Saturday during the summer and wow, I was impressed. They had some great Vendors to choose from and I was able to find the perfect hanging baskets for me front porch. Ok.. pop in and say hello. Don't forget to take time for you! Christina

Hello I bought material to make my granddaughter about 6 short outfits and 6 sun dresses. I went to a clearance store and bought the material for about 1.00 a yard and so I will get 12 outfits for about 25 dollars. I will get these done this weekend so she will have some summer clothes, I might add that she is 5 1/2 yrs old, so at this age she will still let me dress her cute.....(My three grown daughters wont let me dress them cute anymore) I have not heard from Dr Kanes office yet and I cant stand the waiting.....I will still have to do the psy, pulm. ect once I hear..... times seems to stand still. I also have a dog that needs a bath, and I am fostering one from the APL who hides behind the couch and only comes out to eat and to go potty. She will however let my granddaughter go behind the couch and pet and play with her. Hope all enjoy the weekend!! Shannon

Your plans sound like fun, a lot more fun than me going to a family event on Saturday. The only thing that is saving the day is that we will see my sister, Mary and her kids. We have that on Saturday and we are staying up in Fox Lake for the night then come back Sunday morning and I have not really made any plans other than the drive back. I will see what I feel like doing on Sunday morning. Chris

Hello and Happy Friday to you all too. Not too much going on here today. It was my daughters brithday the big 2 years old. Going yard saling in the morning looking for clothing for my post -op WLS.. I figure this is the best time to get some good deals on clothing after weight loss.

Im going to some of the local garden nurseries to look for something different fo my preiannal (sp) garden........I am redoing a small garen that I lost everything during the spring freeze we had..... I was sad to lose all my daiseys.....I am going to see Shrek the Third with my grandson.........Then going to my daughters for a cook out.....Then going to my moms .....Sunday going to spend the day home, relaxing ...maybe take a long .....thats my weekend!
