Thursday Roll Call

Hey girls and guys the weekend is fast approaching. I am looking so forward to it. Have a few things to do around the house and then I can relax on Monday. We have a fantastic parade in our town to kick off the summer. Being it is a small town in a larger suburban area it is fantastic. It usually is about 1 hour long. Because I have lived here my whole life and work for the village I practically know everyone, well not all but most. It is one big social fest for me. We get there early and I park myself (body that is in a chair) near the 7-11 and watch the "peoples" go by. I love the fire trucks, police cars (I wonder why I like those?), local floats, military units, music etc. Party time for me with the socializing. Have a great day. Chris

Good Morning! I sure have missed you this week.  I have not seen much of Miss Lucy either.  What's going on???????  Tomorrow, Calvin and I are flying to TN for a long weekend to visit w/ my folks.  I'm looking so forward to the visit.  My parents have not seen pictures of me since my surgery.  My mother flew in to help after surgery but left after 1week post op so she is in for a big shock! Hope everyone has a great Memorial Weekend.  I may be able to squeeze in a early morning post tomorrow but then we will be on our way. Christina 

Last week Lucy did say that she had and interview for a job and then we have not heard from her. She must be real busy with work and other things in her life. I have been real busy at home and work. I hardly even go on the internet at work unless it is work related. I have been tied up with meetings outside the building and catching up with the back log of work on the Record's desks. With "Click it or Ticket" going on right now my officers are busy at writing those tickets. I have never figured out why they do not write those tickets other than the 3 big sweeps a year. I see so many without seat belts on when I drive, bugs me. My office has had a 2 page arrest transmittal processing everything when we usually only have a 2 pager on Monday mornings. Oh, well keeps me employed.  Hey all, it is not just my department that are writing the tickets ALL POLICE ARE ON THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL TO WRITE THESE TICKETS. Not only in IL but in other states also.  Chris Happy travels to you and Calvin.

.I am taking care of my new tattoo!! I got it last night and it took 2 1/2 hours but well worth it. I think I am getting a cold. I am all stuffy with a sore throat, not sure there is much I can take as far as medicine. I do plan on going to support group meeting in june but I tried to email them and it did not go through

I hope your able to make it to the "Picnic" on June 7th.   What kind of tattoo did you get?  If you can, take a picture of it and post it or I'll see it at the meeting. Hope you get feeling better.  Get ahold of Dr. Rosens office and find out what you can take for that cold! Christina

I will be there on the 7th!! I got Miss Piggy surrounded by flowers on my arm!! I do need to call to see.

Hi There Carla Chiming in, I am packing and pitching things away. Well my husband and I are moving to Bradenton Florida. I need a change. Chicago ruined me from the living in the extreme cold.  MY husband told me he wanted to sell our house and move into an apartment. I told him if I was going to pack up this house I wasnt going to stay in Denver. I want to move to where it is warm. So we picked Bradenton Florida To top it off yesterday I was changing lanes and tore off my drivers side mirror. I grazed a surburban. Did about 900.oo worth of damage to his car and only tore off themirror on my car. I got if fixed for 250.00 yesterday. I guess everyone has a bad day. Carla Klein   

It's been a pretty good day for me here. I got a new vehicle. I didnt want to because we can't afford it at all but I had too ours being so messed up. We found out yesterday the motors cracked which pretty much means its shot. we got a 2006 montana. its really nice and I feel better about my 5 hour drive to my WLS doctor. So thats a big relief.

I do hope everyone has a safe Memorial Day.! I am going to a family picnic. We try to get together at least 3 times a year. Memorial Day, Labor Day and Christmas.  That will be on Monday. Saturday going to my youngest daughters for a cook out, Sunday my oldest daughters for a little cook out, the we have a t-ball game at 5pm.

 I will see everyone at the meeting on the 7th. I have an appointment with Dr R. at 3.  Tomorrow driving the school bus with 60 kindergardeners to a park all day....That should be fun, its my grandsons class.  Well have a  safe fun filled 3 day weekend to all!  Karen
