I have a date!!!

July 6th!!!!!!!! Well after starting this process 5 years ago it finally happened!  I have had so many changes with insurance companies we finally got a good one!  BCBS PPO approved my after 2 weeks and my first submission.  I am so happy!!!  I will be going to UW Madison and seeing Dr. Gould.  I am just so excited, nervous, scared, you name it I have that emotion! So anyhow let me introduce myself   My name is Rachel and I am 28 years old.  I have tried everything to lose weight but haven't been successful.  My current weight is 435 and I can't wait for surgery.  I have set a goal for myself of 195.  I haven't seen that weight since I was in 5th  grade!  Wow this is going to be crazy!!! Rachel, how wonderful. I know exactly how you feel and 4 years ago I was doing the happy just like you when I received my date. We will keep your space on the bench saved until July 6th. If you need any  answered before then feel free to ask and someone will you get the answer. Chris

Congratulations Rachel!  That is fantastic.  I have to say, this journey has been amazing and you will meet your goal if you are disciplined and do what your doc tells you.
