Appointments!! Appointments!! Appointments!!

Hello All I am coming to Chicago next  week to make my pre op appointments.  I have Ultra sound and Psy on thursday....Pulm test and Dr on Friday and required meeting and appointment with nut on Saturday.  I have a hotel in Wood Dale.   I am nervous about all the appointment and doing this alone.....I have medicare and medicaid so I just need to meet the guidelines to be approved.....they cannot say till the surgery is done,  I however do meet the medicare guidelines.... This is all done through Dr Kanes office and I am just neverous.   Hope all is well with everyone.   Shannon

HEY SHANNON, I KNOW THERE ARE A LOT OF APPOINTMENTS BUT THE END RESULT WILL BE GREAT!    WELCOME TO THE JOURNEY!   JUST HAVE PATIENCE AND SIT BACK AND LET YOUR DOCTORS AND HIS STAFF DO THE WORK!   ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SHOW UP, AND THEN TOWARDS THE END YOU WILL AHVE TO START HOUNDING THE PEOPLE THAT NEED TO COVER YOUR SURGERY.   I THINK THAT IF IT CAME TO US TOO EASY WE WOULDN'T APPRECIATE IT AS MUCH. YOU WILL GET THERE SO DON'T WORRY

Are you staying at the Doubletree or the Court Yard?

Shannon, I went through the Kane Center.  I don't know who your surgeon is, but all 4 doctors are supposed to be wonderful.   Dr. Guske did my RNY in Feb.  He is so warm and compassionate and spends the time answering any and every question.  You probably have your pulm appt. with Dr. Hart's office.  I was more afraid for that appointment than any of the others, because I have asthma.   Good luck,  I am sure you will do fine.
