Memorial Day Roll Call
Well, that little guy in the subject line was able to utilize his shades yesterday here in my area and should also be able to today.
I know I had mine on when I went for a bike ride. I was very crafty - I rode over to a greenhouse about 2 miles away, got about $20 worth of flowers in my two baskets and rode home without even loosing a flower pedal. With the price of gas if we can avoid driving somewhere we do. I am so super glad that I live so close to work and ride my bike most of the days of the week.
Hope you have a great day and get a lot of things done that you were planning on doing or just lounge around enjoying the fellowship of your family and friends.

Hi Chris - It's good to be home! It was nice to get away but it's always good to be back home. Hope you were able to enjoy the festivities your City put on this Memorial weekend. I'm just hanging low and enjoy a little R&R. Calvin has to work tonight so I'm just puttsing around. I was so excited when we got home today because we are starting to sprout baby grass all over the front. YYYIIIPPPEEE!!! Of course, some of it may get torn out because Thursday evening we had high winds and my Magnolia tree in the front yard snapped right down the middle. I was so crushed. It was a beautiful tree and it had to come down on Friday. They will be back this week to remove the stump. Then I went out back today and part of one of my lilac trees/bush has been split. I think we can salvage part of it. So, I will be shopping for a replacement tree tomorrow for the front yard. I don't go back to wor****il Wednesday. God Bless our Troops! Christina
