Wednesday Roll Call

I have been burning the candle at both ends exercise wise and am paying the price, therefore the little guy in the subject line that is gritting his teeth. I might be hurting but it really feels good to be back in the swing of things in the exercise department. Got most of my flowers planted in the pots around the house, but still have some more to do after work this afternoon and then I can sit back in a lounge chair and enjoy the beauty. I started planting in larger containers a few years ago. There is less weeding (also less stooping to get to them) and no plant beds to tend to in the fall and spring.  What ya all doing today? I have wor****il 3pm, then I come home to attend to the remainder of my flowers. Later in the evening I want to run/walk or bike when the temps get a little cooler. Dave is in the Boston area until Thursday evening so I am foot loose and fancy free and the remote control is mine, all mine! We have several universal remotes around the house (I am married to an electronics junkie) so there really is never a battle for who has the remote. Hi Chris, I am right there with you on container gardening.  The only things I want in the ground are rose bushes,lol.  Tomatoes do wonderful in containers as do many variety of flowers and the cleanup is a breeze. This is a short week as well as month end so it is a hectic time at work for me. Just got back from my walk, it is a bit muggy out and I am hoping it won't be too hot today.  I hope everyone has a great week.  Shower time for me.   Enjoy being the queen of TV's for a few days :-) Mary

HI  CHRIS,    I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU MEAN ON THE REMOTE!     GOT MY DIVORCE AND WAS SOOOOOO HAPPY TO HAVE CUSTODY OF THE REMOTE CONTROL!

Well today i have to get the doctor test results from when I went to the ER last month. My psych eval doc wants to see them so he can change some of my meds. he says there also making me gain weight so he wants to fix that issue.  Then im going to find a new specialist for my son with autism because hes getting some major behavior problems and hitting and kicking me so he needs some meds. And my oldest son is developing some tics so he needs to see someone also.

My deputy chief at work has a girl with autism also. He was telling one of the other girls in my office that she is not a hitter but she is a pincher. She is a rather large girl so she packs a good pinch and is real strong. He has a lot of issues with her also with her not sleeping and he is up with her sometimes for hours at night. His wife is amazing with her and this little girl is so blessed to have a mom like her, just like I am sure you and your husband are with your son. Just when they think that they have most issues settled with her something else comes us with her and they are off to a different doctor with her.  Take care. I know sometimes it is hard to understand but God gave you your special boys because He knew that he could trust His special babies and nurture them. They are a true gift from the One above. Yes I truley believe that god gave me all espically him for a reason. hes changed my life for the better. I agree as soon as one thing settles down something else happens with him.It can get frustrating. He just now finially went to sleep hes been up since 4 this am. I love him but im thankful hes the only autistic on of my 4 kiddos.

Good Morning Chris and the rest of IL - Today is my first day back to work after a long weekend.  So I now get to play catch up.  Three days of work then another weekend.  Yahoo! I'm actively looking for a new job which was a difficult decision of mine but I just can't work for my boss for too much longer.  He is just not a nice person and has crossed the line too many times.  I wish I could just walk out but as most, I have to have a check each week.  I'm not one to bounce around so it was a little difficult to make the decision to move on.  I can't wake up every morning worried about how the day will go, it's just not healthy for me.  I was with my previous employer for 15 years prior to moving to IL three years ago and loved it.      Everything happens for a reason and I trust this will work out too.

Well today I took a lot of my winter things to the Jr League of Denver Resale shop to donate Cause we are moving to Florida and I wont need a majority of them. The car was full. I went to get my b-12 shot and came home and packed somemore. We leave for Florida for 10 days on Sunday. I am still waiting for a certificate I need to send to the State of Florida for my Cosmetology Liscense. I hope it comes this week so I can send in the rest of the paperwork. I applied for 2 jobs but havent heard a word.  But that is ok cuase I dont want a job till Augest anyway. Hope all is fine with everyone. Carla

Carla, oh my gosh and I thought I had a lot of work with one guest coming to stay with us in a week plus (see Thursday morning roll call). Great idea about donating your stuff. I would need a dumpster for my house, been here for 29 years, LOL. Christine

Oh, sweetie what a hard decision for you to have to make. I guess that I am sort of a dinosar and blessed at the same time with my being at my job for almost 28 years. Fill me in next Thursday as to what the latest is when we are at support group. Chris
