OT a snake EEK

Ok my dad killed a baby rattle snake out here the other day. I wanted to post the pics. I saw a big one a month ago but couldnt run it over. We dont see these kind often. but once is MORE than enough considering a good snake is a dead one.

OH MY GOD.......RATTLESNAKES IN ILLINOIS?    SCAREY!    I REALLY DON'T MIND SNAKES BUT NOT THOSE KINDS!

Yes it is very scarry isnt it??. There not too common here but we live in the country in a heavly wooded area. but its still scarry. we have copperheads too which I hate them all .

And I thought it was bad when I was running 2 days ago in our village's nature center and saw a garder snake.  Chris ps I also have "snakes" I work with.

Where in the heck is enegy il?  I think you guys are importing rattle snakes.

haha its NOT ME trust me on that one lol Im close to carbondale.Its herrin actually.

Must be something about the weather lately.  Our Unit clerk said she went out for a walk a few days ago and saw 3 snakes and about stepped on the fourth snake (which was a rattler).  Makes me want to take my walks mid day so the snakes are no where to be found!! LOL Shelley
