Ouch, Dave and I spread 3+ yards of mulch yesterday after I got home from work. I am hurting right now and he is still sleeping but I know that his body is going to be hurting also. We still have the equal amount to spread left on the driveway waiting for us later today. It did not get too wet and we have it totally covered with plastic because it did rain a little last night. How was the beginning of your week? Our plans seem trivial in light of what is going on with Sandy's family (Autismmom). Read her post that is back a few lines on the board. Hold your little ones close to you. Pop in and tell everyone what is going on with you and yours.  Christine  &

Good morning!  Today is the day my DH and I are taking our developmentally disabled niece to the horse track, not to bet, but she loves horses, and they will let her pet them before and after races. My heart goes out to Sandra, and to the other families in our area that have lost children, (one was killed in Iraq, and another family I know their daughter got electrocuted yesterday).  My life seems so trival compared to what is going on in their lives. I know what you mean by laying all that mulch, we did that, and I couldn't move for a couple of days, but I remember a time when I wouldn't have even thought about trying to do that..lol *hugs*

Good Morning Chris and the rest of IL - Not a whole lot going on so far this week.  My heart is breaking for Sandra and her family.  I lost my brother when he was eleven to a tragic go-cart accident in 1989.  I still remember it like it was yesterday.  I think me and my two sisters have healed but I don't think my mother will ever be the same.  I know everything happens for a reason but when tragedy hits and it's a young child involved, it's just so hard to understand. I too have been doing a lot of yard work and man my body was yelling at me.  I was really feeling the pain of not using some of those muscles.  It's paying off; I now have a "yard" at least in the front.  In about another week, it will be ready to mow.  I'm so excited. Did anyone watch Big Medicine last night?  I really like the show.

Oh well, I need to get busy.  Hope everyone has a Blessed Tuesday Christina
