Surgery Tomorrow

Its all starting to hit me now, tomorrow is my surgery and now all of a sudden i feel so unprepared, its as though everything went blank.  Did anyone go through this before their surgery?  I feel like all the research all the plans i made for my recovery everything gone or not so much gone as much as not adequate? HELP!

I did not go through this. It probably just nerves. Everything will be fine!! Stay positive

Take a deep breath...  You will do just fine.  You are just experiencing a lot of fear and stress all rolled up into one.   You will be in my thoughts and prayers and you start your journey tomorrow. ((HUGS)) Christina

thank you for your advise believe it or not i did not notice that i was practically hyperventilating i was breathing so shallow! lol  Thank you for your prayers, i need all the help i can get in that department. Teresa

Yes, i went through it. It kept feeling like life around me was just happening with out me being there. I was just an observer from the sidelines, everything seemed surreal to me. I just could not believe that it was happening and that someday I would be relatively living pain free and would be able to do things that I had not dreamed possible.  Everything that you have learned will come back to you, I promise. I went through the same thing for sure!! I cried the whole night and couldn't sleep! I knew I was in great hands, but the thought was of my family. You have the best surgeon in the country you will be fine . take a deep breath you day is almost here!!! congrats to your health and here is to a fast recovery!!! dee
