Friday Roll Call
Good Friday Morning to you all (say it like in the movie Good Morning Vietnam). Wow I cannot believe the weekend is here. But, I still have a lot to do, cannot sit back and do nothing. Need to even be moving my tushie right after work. I got all of the rest of my mulch moved yesterday before I headed off for my 4 year apt. Which went very well by the way, the apt that is. I always come away with learning something new when I sit down with any of the professionals that I see during my apt. Good to go for the next year, got a pep talk in the exercise dept and seeing the NUT always brings back the importance of why I am to eat the way I need to and learned in my presurgical diet. Of course Dr JR is always a pleasure to sit down and talk with.
Support group was a blast. Got to sit with people that I do not always get around to talking with in the other months. That was so much fun. The games were so much fun also. The staff must have also had a lot of fun coming up with them. For those that are not familiar with my doctor's group, we had an "Ant-Less Picnic" yesterday evening inside at the clinic. With protein rich food, drinks and fellowship.
Need to get ready for work, boys and girls. Take care and talk at ya all later.
Christine

Good morning Chris! Happy 4th Year Surgianniversary to you!! It sounds like the picnic was fun, fun, fun. I'm going to see Dr. Guske this morning for my yearly appointment. He will address my anemia and I'm sure that I will be placed on medication. I sure hope that I don't have to have iron injections or infusions. Tonight I am going out on a date for dinner in the Woodfield area. One of the guys I met on eharmony. So if nothing else, I'll get a nutritious meal out of it and some conversation. The weekend will be full with visitations and on Sunday, the pool! YAY!!!
Get some needed rest my friend!
Hugs,
Lucy
Lucy, I was thinking about you a short while ago and it being your surgiversary. Hey, ask your good doctor who is doing the pre surgical seminar tomorrow. Dave and I were going to go to it (and giive testimony) and we are just curious who is doing the lecture.
Any idea where you are going on your date? We have a busy weekend also. No rest for the weary. I am sure that I will slip a nap in somewhere during the weekend.
Best to ya.
Chris

Hi Chris. Yeah, I can ask Dr. Guske and let you know.
I'm either going to Rainforest cafe, cheesecake factory or Ruby Tuesday. We're going to decide once we get there.
I'm so glad it's the weekend and hopefully I will be less tired once Dr. Guske puts me on iron supplements.
I love that man. I've got 2 cuties for surgeons, him and Dr. Madry.
