I have a Date!!

Just wanted everyone to know that I have a date ................June 29th.    I have to come up next week for the pre-op testing on the 14th.  This will be the 4th visit up north and the surgery will be the 5th.  I am not complaining but the drive is boring by myself.   Now I as getting the jitters.............. Shannon, how wonderful. The jitters are normal. I would worry more if you did not have any. June 29th I will just be back from the WI Dells. If you think that you will feel up to a visitor I can come to the hospital and see you. Are you going to be at Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove Village? Do you know if you will go into ICU for 24 hours or will you go right to a regular room? That is the system they have in place for their patients.  I will also need your last name so I can ask for your room number at the information desk. You can PM me with that info.  Christine

Hello I just wanted to let all know that I will be Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove Village for my surgery.  I am having a friend bring me up the day before and will stay till after I get out of surgery......She will then have to go back to Springfield.   My daughter will pick me up when I get out but she will be unable to come till then as she has two children and is in the middle of a  nasty divorce.....(she also works for the Federal DA and has to work around court case).............so if anyone would like to visit that would be wonderful.....
