Hello friends

I'm alive and well and 14 lbs lighter!  It is a slow convalesence as the surgery was so extensive, but worth it!  I guess Dr. Rantis found everything but Hoffa's body in my belly!  I got the rest of my staples out today and that feels so good!  I haven't had any trouble with eating so far, my husband is amazed that such little portions fill me up! I'd like to mention also that I was off the ventilator and breathing on my own 2 hours after surgery-so much for Dr. Doom!  Has anyone heard how autismmom is doing? My heart just breaks for her.  Hope all is well with all of you-Janet K

Janet, it is good to see your smiling picture and hear your sense of humor. It is great to hear that you are healing and doing well. WOOHOO for Dr Pete. He is a great guy and very knowledgeable in his field. I got a PM over night from Sandy and she is doing well. She got many cards from people on this site and was very touched by them.
