I got APPROVED!!!!

Finally I got approved.  I was starting to think it would never happen. They lost my psych eval and blood work and all grrrrr but the blood work finally showed up and with a few strings pulled they accepted a note from my therapist........Wooo HOOOO! So today I had a great meeting with my surgeon Dr Kim today and he scheduled me for my EGD this Thursday and he said everything looks good so far so once that is done I am all ready for surgery. I am hoping for the then of this month for surgery he said I would just have to wait and see. I am way excited now and just want it done so I can start on the new me.

Congratulations!  I am happy for you.  I called Dr. Kim's office and they told me since I had the public aid medical card,  that their waiting list was 1 year long. I could go up to Chicago, but that is really far for me and I hate driving in all that traffic.  I'm hoping to find a surgeon in Peoria.

Hi, I recently attended a meeting in Peoria with the Peoria Surgical Group and they will not accept medicare or public aide coverage.
