Listen to all these smart ladies and call your doc anytime you feel you have an imortant issue.  That is what they are there for.  I had my surgery May 25th and I have had a roller coaster of various changes in my body.  The worst has been the gas - I can clear a convention center.  I 've ben assured this too will pass and I am not afraid to ask questions even if they sound silly.  Its my body and my health.  Be patient w/yourself and listen to your docs.  I'll keep you in my prayers-Janet K

I had diarrhea for weeks after surgery. Now, I wish I still had it! First of all,,,your choice of surgeons is excellent. They will help, you will not be pestering them. Your body has gone through a major shock and it takes time to stabilize.........I'm still not stabilized but I know eventually I will be. Hang in there. It will get better,,,and be so worthwhile.
