Tuesday Roll Call
I aaaammmm bbaaaccckkk! We played hard and I am still tired even with falling asleep at about 7 last night. I finally got up and went to bed at 830 and slept the whole night. I still feel like I could climb back into bed.
Oh well back to work today. My desk was cleaned off before I left hope it is still that way. Nothing much planned for me today other than work then come home and put away a few minor things from the suit cases. All the laundry was washed and dried yesterday. Just need to iron a few things. I am one of those persons that like to iron the cotton items of clothing even though you really do not have to. It just looks so much better. I hate polyester clothing and try not to buy too much of it.
Have a great day all.
Smooches,
Christine

Welcome home Christine! Wow, you sure are a powerhorse with all that activity after coming home yesterday. I'm still not totally unpacked from my Vegas trip! My mom likes to iron everything. You reminded me of her with your ironing of cotton items.
Not much planned for me today. Work and some time in the sun after work. Tomorrow's another story. I have my second date with a man I met on another website. We are going out to dinner and dancing. Woohoo!! I'm sure it won't be any pole dancing though... not in public!
I saw Dr. Madry yesterday and as usual, he was running late. He had an emergency surgery at Good Shepherd so there were a number of us waiting at the Elk Grove office. Everything looks good and I don't have to see him until August. Then we will discuss my next round, a revision of my breast lift, some facial work and perhaps a revision of my LBL or thighplasty. Ugh!
Wishing you and everyone here a most wonderful day!
Hugs,
Lucy

Well, my Lucy it does not look like you will get much time under Mr Sun but will have to go under Mr Artificial Sun. Yeah, Dr M can have a full schedule and then he might be the on call doc for PS while in a hospital. I do not see him until Aug 8th and that will be it for me to see him for a long while.
Now, you behave on those dates or I just might have to come along as a chaperone!

Glad you had a great time. You made it sound so fun that I was telling my kids about it and I believe that will be next years vacation. This year it off to the WIndy city for 2 days. My 5 yr old grandson loves Chicago. I do have a lot of family up there that I have not seen in about 6 yrs. I have only seen them once in 30 years, and that was at my grandmas funeral. After my real dad passed away his family quit talking to us. Thats ok.
Chris I see you with all your energy, and I can not wait, to lose my weight.
Lucy with all the wardrobe changes must be exciting, it also makes me more excited about my choice to have WLS.
So I enjoy all the post of what you can do, It just makes me see the bigger picture for myself.
My palns for today is cleaning the pool floor. I found it make great exercise. It has hard water on the floor and I found away to get it up while providing alot of leg exercise. So I guess I better get started I have some arends to run later.

Hey everybody - I don't really have much to report other than I'm one lb from meeting my mini challenge. Yahoo! Just staying very busy at home and work. It's really great to see all the activity on the IL board. Lots of new people all at different stages of the game. I look forward to sharing this journey with you all. Have a great day and try to stay cool. Christina
Well, I have heard in the past that the interviewer is not opposed to hearing from the person that they talked to. It is really important to send a follow up letter thanking them for their time during the interview etc. Dave's sister was in HR for years and she mentioned all this too us. You can in addtion to the letter follow up with a call. I think it would be smart to call s/he and say that you are still interested in the job, you are going to be out of town during the next week and you wanted to pass on your cell number for them to reach you. So, I say call.
