Good morning Christine and my fellow Illinois friends! It's been a very busy week for this lady. I had a great time on my second date last night. We went to Wellington of Arlington for dinner and dancing. We did some mighty fine slow dancing . I'm going to meet another man from Texas, originally from North Carolina next weekend. He is so sweet and has a sexy voice too! My social life has picked up big time. I'm planning on visiting Shannon on Saturday at ABMC after her WLS tomorrow. I'm sure she is on her way to the area since she will need to start doing her pre-op prep this afternoon! Otherwise this weekend hopefully will be pool time and visiting my mom and sister.
Soon I will have to pack my bags again for my Alaskan cruise. I'm headed to Vancouver on July 12th to spend two days there and then board the Princess ship on July 14th. Now I have to start thinking about what I am going to take to wear on the cruise. Decisons, decisions!!! July is going to fly right by.
Well that's my story for now! OK, who's next?
Hugs, Lucy
I know I haven't been around lately but I do read almost daily. I have been busy working and driving my daughter all over the place. Why can't I be a teenager again and spend every day at Great America? Maybe I will be brave by the end of the summer and go with her and actually do one (only one) of the rides. I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning Chris and the rest of IL - I actually got my golf in last night. The ground was a bit mushy but I got thru it. I have ran myself ragged this week trying to get things in order at work and home since we are leaving tomorrow morning for vacation. I still have too much to do. I'm convinced that there is just not enough time in the day. Well, I got some disappointing news yesterday. I was not the successful candidate for the position I had interviewed for. It really brought me down but you know what? That's their loss. It is what it is. So, we have several people having surgery today and tomorrow. Wishing you all the very best. I'm not sure if I'll be able to check in tomorrow morning. We will be leaving early for NC. So if I don't talk to ya, have a great weekend and a wonderful July 4th week. I will be back on Sunday, July 8th and we will be bringing back my 17yr old step-daughter. She will be spending the month of July with us. I'm looking forward to her visit. This summer will be different then the past, I can physically do so much more this year. It should be fun. Take care everyone, Christina
