Taking my seat on the bench...
Hi all,
I had my surgery yesterday morning and was home by 3. Some minor discomfort, but nothing too major. The biggest challene is getting my liquids in. It tales about 2 hours to finish my protien shake and about an hour for a small glass of water.
I seem to have a lot of energy, but am forcing myself to take it easy.
Just wanted to let you all know I was doing well and thank you for your support!
Congratulations. It was hard for me to get all my fluids in at first too. I still have to watch the clock to make sure I get in all my 6, half cup meals a day. I try to measure all my food to make sure I get the 1/2 cup I'm suppose to have. I am just now starting to experience hunger pains if I miss a meal. I go for my first fill on the 17th. Wishing you all the best in your recovery.
Shelley
I managed to walk about a half mile today (1/4 mile 2 times) and am still feeling great. I had a bout of hiccups for about 5 minutes when I took too many sipps in a row of my protien shake. I managed to get in 90 grams of proties today (75 so far, still working on the last protien shake of the day).
