Sunday Roll Call
Happy Sunday IL. Yes, one more day to the weekend, how sweet. Not much cookn' for me today. I am going to visit one of our members, Shannon that had her surgery on Friday at a local hospital. After that I am leaning towards just being lazy and sitting on my driveway in a comfortable chair and watching people go up and down the street.
Hope all is well with everyone. Our fireworks are on the traditional day, July 4th so we have that to look forward to. Hopefully it will not rain because our local hotel (Westin) at I-290 and Thorndale has a big fest every year with 10s of thousands of people. The headliner on the main stage this year is Peter Frampton. The fireworks are also shown on the ABC news here in Chicago. We will just ride our bikes over near the grounds with our "bag" chairs that we can get in our baskets and watch from a cheaper vantage point. They charge $15 a car to park and the traffic afterwards is horrible. Takes over an hour to get out and back on the road.
Take care,
Christine

I bet it will be nice to have a lazy day to do nothing after last week! you sounded
like you had a full schedule up at the Dells, Chris! I am going to nothing also!
watch TV and give the dogs a bath, how exciting is that? I would like to say it has
been 5 days, smoke free! I used a fairly new method called Chantix and how it
works I don't know! but it's the easiest experience I have had quitting! Don't
know how it will be tomorrow but today is good so far! One day at a time!
On my way to healthy! So recommend it if you ever get the chance!

I'm not doing much today either. Might go up to the pool today. Finally have the ok to go swimming!! Later tonight I will be going to my parents house. They just ran my Grandma up to Minnesota. My one Aunt on my Dad's side is losing her battle with cancer. Hospice will be coming in tommorrow but she hasn't got much time left. My sister had a dream in which my Aunt came to her and said she understood why my sister had not been able to come see her and that she would not be around for her 60th birthday. My Aunt's 60th birthday is July 10th. My sister and I did not know this until after she told her dream to my Dad. This Aunt had been estranged from my family for many, many years. My Dad only started talking to her agian a couple of years ago. So I hope he was able to talk to her during this trip and was able to mend whatever needed mending, it may be their last opportunity.

Hello,
Today I went to Costco and walked around. Came home and took a nap. I have a migraine today and no medicine to ward it off.
Tomorrow I am packing up some boxes for my kid and packing up the dogs things. My daughter is meeting my husband and I in Lincoln nNebraska and staying overnight.
My husband hasnt see her since last year.
17 more days and I will be a great Aunt. I cant wait. Carla Klein
