home after 4 days post op

I had almost seven hours in surgery. He had some complications and the doctor said his surgery was exteremly difficult. Ron has been out of surgery now on his third day post op and he is still on clear liquids, he coan't keep anything down. He had his gallbladder removed and he was full of adhessions from his perferrated ulcer and he is in much discomfort. He is now getting insulin shots and he is throwing up old blood. He is fairly good spirits and says he dose not regret the surgery. He wants to feel better and come home. Please keep him in your prayers. after a 3 hour drive i am home.  i feel pretty good today it hurts mostly when i stand. i guess the doctors had fun for a virgin stomic.  LOL i came home on pureed foods.yummy.....thanks to all here for your prayers  ron

Congratualtions and welcome home!  This is the tough part now but each day will get a ittle easier.  So take it easy and remember to keep walking around...it will help.
