OH EDUMACATION

HI,I ATTENDED THAT SEMINAR @ UIC YESTERDAY.I'M PLEASE AS WELL AS FORTUNATE, TO SAY I HAVE LEARNED MORE HERE THAN ANYWHERE,INCLUDING UIC!A BIG THANK U TO ALL!!!I HAVE A SURGEON PICKED OUT DR. AYLOO [THANK YOU SUSAN]THEY SAID IT SOUNDS AS IF I HAVE EVERYTHING IN ORDER. NOW, I WAIT FOR A CALL TO SET UP THE 1ST APPT. OH, I ALSO NEED TO DECIDE WHAT SURGERY TO HAVE.... I,M PRAYING ON IT.BY THE WAY, I'VE BEEN IN THE MEDICAL PROFESSION 20 YEARS & IFEEL GREAT ABOUT DR. AYLOO!HOPE ALLS WELL W/ EVERYONE!

congrats to you on getting another step closer!! There is a DS board The people on there are awesome and full of information. I was over there when I was thinking about the DS There is also a RNY board too that is full of information. There is the main board too I personally stay away from there. The site is so full of information!! I also hang out in the before and after  pictures I just love looking and getting inspiration!!

This is great news that you feel so comfortable with your decision with the choice of the doctor. That is very important. Take care and before you know it they will be calling with the apt. for the your first doc visit. Christine

I attended the same seminar, maybe we saw each other!!! I was there with my hubby!!! I also chose dr ayloo. I have appt set up for july 12th and 13th. waht kind of insurance do you have?? what kind of surgery are u getting done?? This is such a small world!!

I BELIEVE I'VE FINISHED ALL MY REQUIREMENTS: 12+[&STILL GOING]MONTHS OF DIETRY APPT,PSYCH EVAL,6+ MONTHS OF A DR SUPERVISED DIET.HISTORY OF FAILED DIETS.AND A COMORBITITY =HYPERTENSION.YUP HISTORY OF FATNESS.I USE TO SAY I'M MORE WOMAN THAN MOST BUT THAT'S SO LAST YEAR.LOL HOPE YOU DON'T MIND MY SENSE OF HUMOR OR LACK OF IT.AS FOR WHAT SURGERY...I HAVEN'T DECIDED YET.
