1st letter denied

Well my doctor will not do the diet pills and they want me to have more then one supervised program. well i can not afford weigh****chers and all the others stuuf. what to do now.

What other supervised programs are they saying besides WW? And why would they want you to have more than a doctor or a NUT? Do they have this stuff in writing or is this what the customer service person told you on the phone? There is an insurance forum, maybe you can post your question there and get a more specific answer as to where to go now. Christine

I did what they asked i even had a note from the gym i been going to for years and i not sure why they want more.. thanks though i will post that

Sweetie, what does your doctor's office say about the denial? Will they help you with getting an approval? Maybe you qualify for the IL insurance board to step up to the plate and help you with getting an approval. As far as your gym I am going to guess that they do not qualify as an approved program. I think your primary doctor can supervise your diet.  You just have to see him/her once a month for a weigh in and a discussion on your diet and excersise. What insurance are you trying to please?  That was all you needed for BCBS.
