Saturday Roll Call

Great inspirational music to be listening to while you are working. My favorites are Chris Tomlin, Lincoln Brewster, Darlene Zschech (Hillsong music), Selah, Robin Mark, Matt Redman, Tommy Walker and of course Willow Creek's own praise and worship music. Really almost any contemporary praise and worship music will do for me. Got to finish cleaning the car out (vacuumn and clean the windows).  I'm taking my daughter and 2 of her friends in to the Kane County Cogaur game tonight.  I had won 4 tikets to the before game picnic and to the game tonight from work.  Tonight will be the last night my Daughter will be home before going to sleep away camp for a week.  We are both nervous as this will be the first time she has been away from home(mine or her Dad's) for so long.  Her Dad has promised her a trip into Medevil Times if she makes it the entire week.  I think she'll have loads of fun once she gets there.  It's a Christian Youth Group camp on the shores of Lake Geneva.  They have lots of stuff for the kids to do.  She leaves for camp around 1200 tomorrow and will return in the evening on Saturday.  Question is --What's Mom going to do by herself for a whole week?  LOL Will add all the prayer requests to my list. Shelley, she will do fine. I have been to that camp. I went up to drop off one of our friend's daughter with the mom. It is really nice.  What is mom going to do for the week, well . . . enjoying her new hair cut, working on her exercise routine (maybe shaking it up a little with more intensity), maybe going to the library for some enjoyable reading, tackling a room or closet she has wanted to, find new foods to enjoy, recipes. You will find something. Talk on line with the rest of us. Christine

Thought I could count on you Christine to come up with ideas to keep me busy!! LOL  You're right I do have a room or two I would like to get cleaned, not to mention I may take the time to go through and get rid of toys she doesn't play with any more. (That way I don't have to listen to the  "But I was going to play with that" whine)  I'll have more time to spend checking in here. Shelley

today I went to the Farmers Market near our house. It is a joke. They think they are Diamond Jim Brady with the prices. Mostly crafts, hardly any produce. they think we live in such a rich area. I didnt even buy anything!!!!!! I told them their prices were to high. I listed some furniture on Craigs List and sold some Magnapan speakers and my sleigh Bed. things are comming along for our move. the lses I have to take the better Off I am going to be. Carla

We have a Farmer's Market in our town like that, usually only one produce person. Arts and crafts are not farmers in my opinion. We have everything from Pampered Chief, Tupperware to jewelry. Give me a break. Later in the season we will get locally grown fruit but that is about it. Chris

GOOD AFTERNOON EV1,   I JUST GOT DONE CUTTING THE GRASS!  HOT OUT THERE   BUT IT WAS TIME AND I CAN'T STAND IT LOOKING SHABBY!     I HAD THE ENERGY SO I DID IT! I WAS WONDERING WHAT HAPPEND TO CHRISTINA,   MISSED HER DAILY COMMENTS!   I WILL PRAY FOR HER AS WELL AS DEE REQUEST AND STILL GOTTA SAY SOME FOR THAT BABY LINCOLN! I HAVE A CONSULT WITH DR.ROSEN TUESDAY AND I AM VERY EXCITED.....I HAVE TO GET THE SHOW ON THE ROAD SO I CAN SIT AT THE BENCH WITH THE REST OF YOU!    PAM                                                                                                                   

Well, you were full of energy today. We sat in the pool and on the deck at the B-day party today. Was very comfortable. Got to be with a bunch of my grand nieces and nephews at the party, great kids. Boy are they going to sleep well tonight. Chris Ps, so is Dave (sleep) he spent most of the time in the pool with the kids. I was the social butterfly and the picture taker.
