Tuesday Roll Call

Good morning IL and guests to our board. Let's continue to pray for our members that are traveling across the country in these next couple of days. Boys and girls that are shy about posting on our daily roll call come on in and get your feet wet and join us. Let's also keep in mind our members that have been abscent due to busy lives.  Not much on my home front. We got some much needed rain here in the Chgo area yesterday afternoon and evening. It really does need to rain for at least 24 hours nice and steady to help the poor plants and people's water bills for those that are watering their lawns. Besides our flowers and shrubs I have not been doing any other watering. The grass will come back.  Take care and have a safe and great day.   & Christine

It rained good yesterday for about 1 hr in the area of Peoria  I was in. I called home because we have a well, to see if we were getting any needed rain, and not a drop. They are calling for rain after 4 today! Who knows, but the good Lord himself!  Off to get ready for school. Wish me luck, I need it ,its harder then I thought it would be! Karen

Afternoon Karen, yeah we got it in Itasca yesterday and then again this afternoon. I stayed at work and used the dreadmill, I mean the treadmill and when I went to go home found that it had been raining. I road home thorught the rain drops and did not get too wet. Have a blast with the RE class. Christine

Hello All I am on my way to Chicago today for my first post surgery visit.........long trip but I am hopeful that they take the drain out.  I will let everyone know how it all comes out!! Shannon

Shannon, how was the drive and appointment I should have told you to tell Jimmy "Hello" from me. Hopefully you had your drain out. That is one of those wow moments that it is gone finally. Let me know how it all went. Christine

good morning all from Decatur. we got a little rain here but not much yesterday. i am feeling pretty good today i have to go get my glasses fixed today screws cam out so i guess i will be driving blind for a few minutes. this sight is great everyone has helped me through this whole life change. thanks ron

RON!!!! so glad that you joined us, we need more men on our board. DO NOT DRIVE BLIND! I always keep a little kit in the house to repair my glasses and also have a lot of "reader" glasses when I wear my contacts.  Ron, we are here to help you and your wife with your lifestyle changes. Christine

Good morning, I am late today.  Thought we was gonna blow away in the storm last night.  Lots of storm damage here.

There was a blow here yesterday and this afternoon while I was using the dreadmill, I mean treadmill at work at about 415. Christine

Hi All, We had a tease of a thunder storm, lightning, high winds about 50 to 60 miles per hour, I lost garbage cans, my cover blew off my gas grill, but it didnt blow away. but no rain!!!!! My lawn is crying for water. We can only water once a week now. I cheat sometimes and hand water and hope the cops dont come by. Its a 200.00 fine if they catch ya watering on you off days. Hope all is well. Carla
