Questions for anyone on Tricare

Hi everyone.  I am new to this site, and I am starting the journey of doing WLS.  My husband is retired Navy and we have Tricare Prime.  My questions are:          1)  Were able to get them to approve lap-band or did you have to do the RNY?          2)  If living in the Northern part of the state who is reccommended to do WLS?  I have other questions, but this a start.  Any guidance would be very much appreciated.
