Monday Roll Call

This is what I would rather be doing more than anything right now and also my co-workers, the guys and gals usually are dead tired after our fest weekend. Yesterday evening I met up with my girlfriend and her sisters and we walked and talked for a couple of hours while their kids enjoyed the carnival. Oh well, I will catch up on the sleep later this week, relationships are everything and you only go through this life once.  Well, we have people to keep in mind that are having surgery today (Jason) and others that are having to study and take a test (Karen) and others with work related issues. We have other members recovering, in the process of moving or just have a lot on their plate right now. Take a moment to think about them during the day. We have much needed rain expected to arrive in the northern part of the state in the next couple of days. My grass is starting to look real crummy, I have better things to spend my money on and it is no****ering the grass.  Well, have a great day everyone! Christine

Good morning all-I am going over to the hospital this afternoon w/ my sister ( his proud Nana) to see Baby Lincoln.  Can't wait.  Finally done w/my house and I'm very pleased w/the results.  Got my DH to unload a LOT of clutter he seemed to think was necessary to our lives. Not in an apartment though!  I feel awful about Randy-may he rest in peace.  His family will be in my prayers.  Have a good day all.  Hope you catch a few ZZZ's Christine-Janet K

Good Morning Everyone - Happy Monday....  Calvin and I have really enjoyed the visit with the girls.  They know how to keep you busy I'm hoping for some much needed rain.  I watered and fertilized the lawn yesterday so some rain would do it some good.   I have had poison ivey or some kind of funk!  I've had it since the day we left for vacation.  It was really bad, then it pretty much cleared up and now it's back full force I guess from the yard work I've done the past few days.  I have no idea where I picking it up.  I think I'm going to have to break down and go to the doc.  I usually have to take steroids for the poison ivey and I really don't want to for fear of weight gain. Work is work...  Just holding on and looking for a good fit for me.  In the mean time, I'm going to start waitressing at Bakers Square part time in the evenings after the girls leave next week. Since my overtime has been cut and I count on that 25 - 30hrs ot each week, I have to do something.  I hope I can keep from licking my fingers after slicing the pie!  LOL Hope everyone has a great day and week.   Christina  

Hello All I am going to the Dr (local) today to have them look at my one lap site infection.  I think it is really good but you never know...........I am done with the injection and that makes me happy!! I am going to the APL today as they have 3 poms that need a home for about a month......I am going to see if my copper will get along with them.   That is about all for today!!! Shannon

Well not feeling too good today. Stomach is upset as it was yesterday. I think it was something I ate!! Did start out my day working out so my energy level is up!! I asked a guy out on friday and he said he would think about it and get back to me so I am still waiting!! I hope everyone has a great dya

Good morning, I am still around.  I am cleaning the pool, doing housework, and checking the boards.  Today is only Monday, but I can't wait till Saturday...lol  DH and I have a date...woooooohooooooooo.  Just wanted to drop by and say hi!

hello, everyone!! i've finally found my way back here..and found the roll call, too!   we celebrated my soon-to-be 6 YO's b'day this weekend (he's not official until wednesday).  was a blast..he had all cousins here..and i burnt the chicken on the grill (hubby was on a soda & juice run)!  apart from that, it was a lovely, not-as-warm-as-predicted weekend.  i've got my first psych on wednesday, too..a bit nervous about that...i don't know how intrusive they will be...there's stuff in my past i'd rather not discuss..but probably should. *sigh* i'm in denial that they have any bearing on my weight gain/inability to lose.  *another sigh*  i suppose i'll just have to be frank, don't i? anyhooo, i wish everyone a lovely week!!

hey Chris ... good Monday morning ... I'm off to a very SLOW, but good start ... so I can't complain.  Starting to think about what I need to get done for my block party on the 28th.   I'm going to the doc this week as I had a gastric emptying test last week, so we're going to go over the results of that (since I'm still experiencing abdominal pain, nausea, and bloating after eating -- we thought taking out the gallbladder would have cured that).  Other than that, just work for me today!!
