I HAVE A DATE
Your own pillow would be my suggestion. I never needed any chapstick. It really was not dry outside to cause dryness inside. Where are you having your surgery? Good Sam or Mercy? I did find that I did not need a robe at Mercy. They have just the right size gowns for the MO patient. I used a gown backwards on me for a robe.

for you!
The only things I used of the things I took with me was my own robe, slip on slippers, lip stuff-----really needed it as my mouth was SO DRY before I could have water or ice chips-----and "fluff" magazines. I could not concentrate to read a proper book. I also took a small pillow for the ride home to hold against my stomach over the bumps. My ride home was about an hour and a half.
I wore loose sweats and a t-shirt and wore the same outfit home--it's not like they got dirty or anything......
I used to live in Rockford, and I still work in the south end (Sandy Hollow). Let me know if there is any way I can help......
