OT: A Year Ago Today

We had massive storm**** the midwest, and my family was without power for 10 days during a very hot July.  Today we have bad storms rolling in.  I am praying we don't have a repeat of last year. Dee

Dee I will say a prayer that these storms move right through and don't cause any problems at all.  We had storm**** us last night, and it was bad, but no power outages or anything. Where is Wood River? Stay safe!

I think that this is just about the same time last year that we lost power for 3 days. Fortunately, nothing spoiled in the freezer or fridge. Chris

Dee, my cousin lives in Florrissant, he was without power during that storm for 10 days also. Then, to add insult to injury, he didn't have a car at that time, so he couldn't go to far. At least some of the fast food places around him were able to stay open at least part of the day. I don't think that these storms this week are of the same type.  We have gotten 4.5-5 inches of rain since Monday night. We have had enough at this time. Lisa
