Suburban Surgical Specialists (Kane Center)

Hi all, I am scheduled for my surgery 7/24 and I'm freaking out!  I am soooo scared! I've attended lots of support groups and no-one I"ve met or talked to uses the surgeon I'm using.  I am going to the Surbuban Surgical Specialist (Kane Center) and my doctor is Dr. Jonathon Wallace - HAS ANYONE HAD DR. WALLACE? Everone I talk to has had either Dr. Kane Jr. -or  Dr. Guske . I'm starting to wonder if Dr. Wallace was a good choice. Help !!!!!! Cindy

My doctor is Dr. Guske but while i was in the hospital Dr. Wallace was on call and he was wonderful. I also had to call him with some questions over the weekend after my surg and he was very helpful and very nice!!! The whole group is GREAT!!!

Dr Wallace ain't bad to look at either !  I guess I'm just getting the pre-surgical jitters.   I notice its been a month since your surgery.  How are you doing? Cindy

Dr. Guske did my surgery but I have met with Dr. Wallace on a couple of occasions and liked him too. I'm sure you will be well taken care of. Best of luck for an unevenful surgery and a smooth and easy recovery. We'll be waiting to welcome you to the "Losing side." :-)

Cindy, first breath, there that is better. You have chosen a very good group of doctors to have your surgery with. My husband had Wallace assist for his WLS. I am very familiar with Kane Jr and Sr. I am a patient of theirs from the early 90's. They are one of the largest WLS practices in the NW suburbs. You could not be in better hands.

Hi Cindy - I'm not familiar with your team of doctors however, wanted to wish you well with your upcoming surgery.  The feelings you are having are all so normal.  I have heard a lot of good things about the Kane Center just don't know personally.  You will do just fine. I have been home for close to an hour, cut Dave's hair and have had a snack. You have a great time with those wonderful girls and Calvin of course. He is such a big lovable huggy bear like my Dave. Give him one from me. Chris
