Need to Vent

Well my surgery date is creeping up on me and now at the last minute my only ride to and from the hospital bailed on me. not her fault her doctor found tumers in her and the are doing her historectomy on the same day as my surgery. I am not sure what to do now. I am just praying and hoping everything turns out ok.

how about take the metro link to st louis then a cab? or just a cab from your house to the hospital? Which hospital is it depaul? if it is you can take the metro link to airport then a cab ride would be like 15 mins to depaul? just a suggestion. Good luck I really hope it works out for you

Don't get discouraged, it will all work out.  Maybe you can talk to your surgeons office and see if there is anyone in the area that is willing to assist.  I know my surgeons office oftens asks for support or assistance from other post op patients.  It's all about helping one another in the time of need. When is your surgery date?  Can you take the train up to Chicago?  I can definitely help transport from the train to the hospital and vice versa ... let me know ...
