Good morning Chris, Pam, Christina, Carla and everyone else! This gal is back from beautiful Alaska and back to work. I've been away from work since July 6th and you gotta know that I would rather be anywhere then here!!
I'm trying to take it all in stride and one day at a time. My main goal is to focus on my eating habits and get back to basics. It's still early in the day so I am doing fine. I know that I will get grouchy as the day goes on. Today will be tough getting through work issues while trying to stay focused on my eating and conquering the food demons. I will succeed!!
I had a short departure from my sugardaddies as I had a problem accessing the website but they rectified that yesterday afternoon. I've walked with my friend from London last night. It was good to hear his voice; I love his accent! One of my new sugardaddies is away until the 30th. We've emailed each other but have not talked on the phone yet. I can't wait to see my Andy; probably within this week. Then there's Tim from California who's going to be here I believe this week. I probably will see him soon. I love this dating and attention. I've missed out on it for so long, so I am taking advantage of all these new friendships and relationships.
I have so much on my plate now but need to focus on the basics of my WLS and not lose sight of it. Without my WLS, I wouldn't be where I'm at now, enjoying my new lifestyle. By the way, I sat between two gorgeous men on the airplane on my return trip from Anchorage. I took an upgrade to have more leg room and the only available seat was the middle seat. I had a great time conversing with them both. When I approached my seat, I said "I'm a lucky girl as I have two good looking men on both sides".
I am seeing my plastic surgeon this morning to have my seroma drained. I think it's on the resolution phase as I don't feel as full as I did when I was in the hospital two weeks ago!
Well, that's all for now. I need to get back to work! Thanks for thinking about me during my absence.
Hugs,
Lucy
Good Morning all! As stated elsewhere, the weekend was a rousing success. I participated in the Swiss Canoe Race and it was a blast. It is something I would NEVER have done "before" so it was a BIG deal to me. I will add a picture to my profile for anyone that is wondering what exactly it is.
Yesterday was a great day for relaxing. Todd and David left for Boy Scout camp, so the girls and I just hung out and relaxed after they left.
Today it is BACK TO WORK! I feel like I could use another nap, but I will get by. I am going to Wal-Mart at luch for cat food and other necessities, then home to have dinner with Olivia. We rather enjoy our "girlie" time while the boys are away. Todd will be back Tuesday evening, and David will be gone all week. Chris, I have always wanted to go the the Rennisance Faire, but have never made it. I will live vicariously through your report. Pam, hang in there, it will be over before you know it and you will be on the losing side.
Lucy, it sounds like you had a great time, I hope everything went well at the doctor. Everyone else........have a lovely day!
Todd, David and their Scouts went to the Bondary waters at the beginning of June. They DID have a great time. Swiss Canoe Races are a WHOLE different thing. We did them right on Main Street, in Rock City. No water required. It is kind of hard to explain, so I am going to upload a pircutre into my profile. Chris said she thought they did something like them in the movie "Stripes". Have a lovely day! Dawn
Good Morning Everyone! I was able to get some much needed rest yesterday. Man, I was pretty tired. I've done nothing but run since before our vacation started at the end of June. The girls made it home safely yesterday and all is well. Chris - You make me tired just reading all the things you and Dave are up to. Wow, I hope I get more energy as the weight comes off. Pam - Hang in there. I know the liquid diet can be a challenge but just think of the end result. You can do it!! Lucy - I've always heard that Alaska had a real shortage of women. Any luck? I would have a problem keeping all your men straight. I would probably be messing up dates, times, names etc. LOL. I hope your appointment goes well with your surgeon. Dawn - You enjoy that girl time w/ Olivia. I'm glad to hear the fest went well this weekend. I bet you are ready for some down time. Tara - Wishing you a smooth surgery and quick recovery. Hope everyone has a great Monday! Christina
Good Morning, Like the rest of you I am at work this morning. A typical Monday.
My weekend was good. Saturday I met my daughter in Bloomington, and we went road tripping to Peoria.
We stopped at an orchard for sweet corn, green beans and tomatoes. Everything taste better if fresh from the farm. Then had a cookout at her home. Yesterday, I took the rest of the stuff, plus some other veggies and made veggie soup. ( that is for me to take for luches this week.
Need to see a client, so back to work. Lisa
