Hi Kathy - do you happen to see a nutritionist at the Wellness Institute?  I'm a patient (pre-op) of Dr. Nagle and I see a nutritionist.  They are a pretty knowledgeable group and I'm wondering if they might be able to shed some light.  I have a pre-op class there next week and if things aren't too nuts and I have time, I will definitely bring up this subject and see what they have to say about it.  Good luck, I hope  your health improves soon.
