cant find a local support group

hey deelight  i haven't walk the park yet since my surgery..... i have walked out here in pontoon in my neighborhood some but not enough... i'll call the edwardsville y tomorrow and check that out.. its close tome actually.. i just live off the interstate out here behind the resturants... so its about ten minutes to edwardsville for me......

I think you will like it they have 2 exercise centers and 2 indoor pools and one outdoor they have a rock climbing wall and a roller rink too. My kids love the roller rink and gymnastic classes. They also have the day care for 1 an hour so that is a bonus as well. they also have an indoor walking track as well. I did learn not to go at 6 am unless I want to wait for a machine with all the Barbie's lol

Gena, I was afraid it was too late to call ya back.  If you guys want to go to that support group meeting, just let me know.  I have been thinking about joining the Y, but don't want to go by myself. Dee

HEY DEE WOULD SHOULD JOIN TOGETHER THEN WE'D ALL BE MEMBERS AND ALWAYS HAVE SOMEONE TO GO WITH......I'M WITH DEELIGHT ABOUT AVOIDING THE BARBIE DOLLS ... I WANT TO GO BUT I WANT TO FEEL COMFORTABLE SO LETS BE SUPPORT FOR EACH OTHER... MAYBE I'LL GET A FAMILY PLAN THEN MY DH CAN GO AND SWIM WHEN HE WANTS .. HE'S SUPPOSE TO AT LEAST 3 TIMES A WEEK FOR THERAPY... HE'S GOT SEVERAL FALSE JOINTS DUE TO A DISEASE... THE WATER IS THE ONLY WAY HE CAN EXERCISE... ALSO MY SON MAY LIKE THE POOL WE'LL SEE ANYWAY I'M GONNA SEND MY NUMBERS TO DEELIGHT VIA PRIVATE E-MAIL THEN WE CAN MAKE A DATE AND MEET AND GET THIS EXERCISE THING IN MOTION....CALL ME ANYTIME DEE I'M UP LATE...HUGS GENA

This is so crazy, I also had my surgery in chicago and moved to edwardsville last August and have been trying to find a group. I am interested in starting one up if anyone is interested. Before I move down here I was running a little group up north. I miss the friendships and support. Please let me know what you all think. Carrie

gena I must of been smoking crack when I said it was 16.00 thats just for a basic membership. I pay 42.00 a month for the family pass with fitness center. just want to clear that up! so sounds like we can get a little group together! let me know. deelight

yeah it does so lets figure it out and get busy... i know i need all the moral support i can get plus i need some motivation to get my tush moving .....
