Good Morning IL Board,

 

Happy Thursday to all.  As you can see, my sleep pattern is still off,lol  By next week I will be back to my old self.  If it were lighter, I'd go out and walk, but it is too dark.  That was the beauty of Scotland in summer.  It never got completely dark.  At 11:00 pm it was still quite light out and by 4i**** was bright even if a little rain. Please keep Christina P. and her husband in thoughts and prayers today as he is scheduled for surgery.

I am back to work day two, it was not that bad at all, spent most of the day catching up on tons of email and voicemail as well as chatting about my trip :-)  Today, I have meetings galore, so I think it is the official end of my summer vacation. What is on everyone's agenda for today ?  Just think, one more day to the weekend :-) Mary

GM to you too young lady, welcome back to the real world - now get to work!  For me, not much at work other than minor things that come my way in the course of the day. I really do not know what will be in the room until we get there. We are at the whim of the citizens calling in or walk ins and the people driving down the street if there will be an arrest or not. I have a circuit clerk meeting at 330 in Glendale Heights and then home to get things together for the weekend. Christine

Good morning Mary, Chris, Pam and Christina! Mary - I know what you mean about resetting the body clock. I'm still on Alaska time, sleeping late every day! We should be set by next week. Chris - Some blessings coming your way!  Hope your work day is uneventful. Pam - WOW, your day is coming SOON! You'll be on your way to a brand new and exciting lifestyle. We'll have to get together soon. Christina - Keeping you and Calvin in my prayers. Get some must needed rest as Calvin's going to need you a lot when he gets home! OK, for me now... I'm still tired and sleeping later in the morning. It's a combination of my trip, my personal life and my low iron. I'll be having a recheck of my iron level in August. My second interview went very well. She said I should be hearing from them soon. Not sure what that means. I don't want to get high hopes as I did before. Nothing planned for me today or tomorrow. My Andy wants to get together with me soon. I'll be talking to a new man I met on sugardaddie on Monday. He's from Ohio and we just crossed paths with our vacations, me first and now him! My guy from London, Will called me last night. He's been very regular with his phone calls. Stephen from Texas, well not sure what is going on with him. I get an occasional email but haven't talked with him in a few weeks. Yikes, it's hard to keep them all in line. I'm working hard on getting myself back to basics. It is not an easy thing to do. Those food demons keep coming out, saying there's tomorrow. That's how I got so big in the first place. It's a constant head battle with me. I'm doing the best I can. Good Morning one and all Christina-keeping you and dh in my prayers today for an uneventful but completly successful surgery.  Get some rest sweetie, if you can Chris-what kind of work do you do?  good luck with that one employee, I used to work with someone like that.  It was never her....always someone else Mary-I hated when my body was thrown off time wise when I went to Germany to visit relatives.  It's so hard to get back on track.  You will be fine in another week I'm sure. Pam-how exciting that surgery in coming up for you!   Lucy-You will be fine and will conquer those food demons someday.  I'm sure it takes time.   Good luck with the job too.  Let us know when they call and offer it to you! Me?  Well today it's rainy and thundering here.  I have to go to work and finish up a big job for the Batavia High School Cheer team.  I do embroidery work.  Right after work I have a meeting with a lawyer for some personal things going on.  Then it's home and dinner and whatever!   I also have to keep an eye on our 8 1/2 month old pup that's been limping and then was better for a few weeks and just last night started limping really bad again on the same leg.  Can't figure out what's wrong.  Might need to take him for x-rays.  The meds they put him on helped last time, but obviously once they wore off it's back.   Have a wonderful and safe day everyone!  and once again, thanks to everyone who's been so wonderful and supportive even though I haven't even had my consult yet....counting down til Aug 7th and we'll see what Dr Rantis says...

Good Morning all! I am home this morning waiting to take Olivia into Monroe for a hearing test and meeting with her ENT.  She has an awful time with her ears.  She has had 6-7 sets of tubes (so many I can't remember.......)  She has one left in the left side, but the right eardrum is concave and "sucked back" into her head and "shrink wrapped" to the bone in there.  He ordered a hearing test to see if this is affecting her hearing. After the appointment, I will take her into work with me since that will just be easier than coming back here. Prayers, thoughts and good wishes going out to Christina and Calvin.  Christina, you sure DO have a lot to deal with, but as you say, one minute at a time....... Everyone else, I certainly hope you have a lovely day!

Hi Dee - Calvin is doing well.  The surgery was a success and he should be able to come home tomorrow.  Sorry you're not feeling well.  What's going on?  Just tired or is something else going on? Take care of you. Christina

Christina, I am so happy to hear about Calvin.  Sounds like your life is gonna be busy the next few weeks, but don't forget about you.  I am still not sleeping, and still have the cold, sinus thing going on.  Completely lost my voice, oh well, hubby says it is nice and quiet..lol *hugs* Dee

Well its now afternoon, So Good afternoon Illinois.  I have an easy day planned. Just me and a 4 yr old.  I have good news I was able to eat last night something more than liquids. I had a very well scrambledegg with cheese. now pain and no after effects. This morning had a 1/4 cup cottage cheese and it went well. So we will see how the rest of the day goes! Christina your family is in my prayers. You must have a strong will, I know ppl that could not handle half of what you are handleing. So hang in there. Well talk to ya all later got to order a cake tomorow is my two oldest kids birthday. Their grown but cake makes everyone happy! Karen
