Hello, all!!! Its been awhile since I posted on here, but I have an issue, and I know my fellow illinoisians(?) can help. I am having my surgery done at UIC with Dr Ayloo, and I go and see the pysch doc on aug 2 for eval. Because I have medicaid, they are only requiring 1 visit, then they will submit all my paperwork!! I am really nervous about the pysch eval. what do I expect? what do I say?  also, ad of you have any experience with medicaid and apporval, PLEASE let me know. Hopefully, I will become a loser in aug.  ps i am having lap rny Check out my myspace page, shanalewis06 for me and the family pics "If you want a friend, show yourself friendly"

As far as the pysch eval I cannot help you.  But medicaid approves quite quickly if all the correct paperwork is submitted and your surgery is medically necessary.  I've heard their approval takes about 1-2 sometimes less.  Good luck on your journey to loserville!!!

All you have to do is be honest, and tell them exactly why you want the surgery, and how you know your life will change. Dee
