Dr. Hammer - Spfld IL

I know there are a lot of you from Springfield that have gone through Dr. Hammer with the bypass surgery.  I know he has started doing the lap-band and was wondering if anyone has had the lap-band done by him or knows of someone who has had it done by him.

Hi Kate, I am from springfield and had the lap band in November by Dr. Hammer. He did his first ever bands on that day. I was #2. Dr. Hammer is great. His staff is too. He is doing bands a lot more each month and we have a great support group going at Memorial Hospital. I would be happy to share any more info with you if you need it. Take care, Melanie

I had RNY and am almost a year out. I LOVE dr hammer and his staff. I know he has been doing a lot more bands also. Maybe you could call Rebecca (his coordinator) and get some names of those people who are in there "mentor" group??
