Friday Roll Call
Good Morning Illinois,
It is Friday, woo-hoo. For someone who has only worked three days, I am very happy to see Friday. It's been a long short week, lol I slept better last night, so it looks as though I am getting over the time zone issues which is great. Tonight I am having dinner with some friends that I have not seen since Christmas, so they will be shocked at the difference in me. I have some major cleaning to get done at home and then I have some parties to attend this weekend. Also on my to do list is to finish my Harry Potter book before some well meaning person decides to tell me the ending, lol
It was great to hear Christina's husband's surgery went well, I'll continue keeping them both in my thoughts as the recovery process begins. What plans does everyone have for this weekend ?
Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend!!
Mary
Good morning IL-Sorry I have been absent but I just got home from 8 days in Winfield's finest medical facility. My gall bladder went south last Wednesday and had to come out.
I just got home late yesterday and I feel like I've been gone for a month. Glad to see our adventurous Lucy home-Hope her health has improved. Christina, I am so distressed at your situation w/ Calvin, etc. You are in my prayers that things SOON settle down in your world. Chris B. hope all is calm for you at work and it sounds like a great week-end planned. Mine will be on the couch
w/my Vicodin close by. Welcome to the new people and lots of luck to any upcoming surgeries-Have great day-missed you guys-Janet K

Thanks for your support Janet. I'm really sorry to hear about your set back. Boy I tell ya, sounds like we all just need a little break from the drama in our lives. I too find myself saying the Serenity Prayer often, if gives me some peace of mind.
Hang in there and get lots of rest. Do I need to play Nurse Nancy for you too???
Christina
Good Afternoon all. I got to leave work early today, the boss was in a great mood! lol I also had all my work done. :-)
I have been so stressed out lately and I just want to relax this weekend and do nothing. I will be keeping an eye on my puppy, who's been limping really bad for the last 2 days. He's 8 1/2 months old.
I have to be honest here too, I really want this surgery bad. I am so tired of being tired and not being able to do things that I want to do. I have been letting it get me down because it's such a long process, but I know it's for my own good and that the Dr's do everything they have to before anything.....okay, I feel better now.
