Friday Roll Call

Hey guys, post on Mary's roll call also if you have a chance. Her and I cross posted this morning. I sometimes wish that I could see that others are on line. Happy Friday Everyone, Well, what can I say....I have one more week till I try to get a referral from my PCM, to continue the journey in getting WLS.  It just seems like time is moving too slow.  My weekend plans are as they are any other weekend, but I hope I can break away for awhile and go shopping. I have been finding it hard to concentrate on any of my school wor****ep thinking about what I will be like once I have surgery.  I dream of the day to where I will be able to buy the cute normal size clothing.  I even told my dh that when this is done and I reach goal, I am going to go get my navel pierced, as I say a really cool belly ring at the maill the other day.   He just looked at me like I had fallen off my rocker or something.  I still don't think my decision has fully sunk in with him as of yet. Hey Gang..  Sorry I'm checking in late today.  I left early this morning to go back to the hospital.  Calvin was like a kid in a candy shop.  He was all washed up, dressed and was chomping at the bit to get the heck out of the hospital.  Well, needless to say, we spent most of the day just waiting for the green light and we arrived home about 3:30.  He is resting right now.  The wound is as round as the top of a coffee cup and 2 1/2" deep.  They still are saying it was a possible spider bite but they will never know.  Guess who gets to pack and change the dressing.  Yep, yep.. Nurse Nancy here.   I got some much needed sleep last night and feel pretty rested today.  We are hanging in there I once again, we really appreciate all of you.  BIG HUGS TO YOU MY FRIENDS Christina

This is all good news about him being released and also doing really good. I am happy that you were able to get some much needed sleep. Honey, you will do okay with the packing of the wound. Just like the sign said that you saw - Let go and let God. He will help you through all this. Chris

Thanks Chris..  He's doing pretty good.  Packing the wound etc does not bother me it's answering the bell he keeps ringing that's driving me nuts Hope you and Dave have a great weekend.  It sounds busy as usual. Christina
