Help!

Hi Everyone, I need some help. I am interested in starting the long road to getting my plastics done. I'm not sure how to even begin. The surgeon I had planned to do my consult with (who is the one my family doc recommended), has moved to Atlanta

. There is one surgeon here in my town but I have been told by many people to STAY AWAY from him

Ok so what do I do now? My family doctor is the one that actually suggested I have a tummy tuck done because of the constant sores I keep getting. I also need a mons lift? (hope thats what its called) but I don't know where to go, how to start the process or what I need to go through my insurance company. Any help anyone could offer me would be soooo appreciated.

I live in the southwest end of IL and would be able to drive to other areas but I would rather not go too far, (had my GBS 5 hour drive away and coming home was NOT fun! lol ) If anyone has had surgery around my area and would recommend their surgeon please let me know so I can get started on this newest journey. Hey Sweetness - I'm sorry your dazed and confused. My surgeons office is hosting a meeting on plastics this next Thursday, August 2nd at 7pm. You can read more about it on their website LifeWeighBariatrics.com Jeffrey Rosen is my wls surgeon and I could not ask for a better team of experts. The facility is in Downers Grove, I really have no idea where you live but thought I would share the info. You could also get in touch with Dee from the IL board aka Peaches. She had mons surgery earlier this year. She looks fabulous but I really don't know what ps she used. Hang in there and congrats on your success. Christina

Thank you so much for your response Christina. I have been in touch with Dee and she has given me some valuable info. I think I will be calling her doc on Monday and scheduling a consult because they are only about an hour away from me which is MUCH better than the 4 hours I drove him after my GDS lol
