Help w/ protein drinks - take out??

Hello fellow Illinoisans Just wondering if anyone knows of places that make protein shakes for you (take out). I am on the run constantly and I know I can grab a protein shake made with whey protein, skim milk and fruit at my gym's cafe (I go to Lifetime Fitness), but I am wondering if anyone knows of other places that do this? It would be great to have a few different resurces in a pinch, especially in Chicago or the surrounding suburbs. Thanks!

Sorry, I do not know of any take drink places. Would it be feasable for you to bring a ready made one with you like Muscle Milk Lite or EAS. Christine

Thanks Christine. I'll give them a try, but I haven't had much luck with pre-made shakes. At least I have now learned to buy them one at a time so I don't get stuck with a case. Thanks for taking the time to reply!

Hi Jessica - Like the new hairdo, looks really cute.  Have you tried AchievOne drinks?  They are kind of like the Starbucks drinks that come in the glass bottle.  They're pretty good - I like them anyway.  I have one of those Hawaiian ice shavers so I fill a glass with the shaved ice and pour the drink over it and pretend it's a Frapacinno - and if I have some sf Cool Whip in the house I put a big honkin' spoonful of that on top and I'm happy as a clam!  They're kind of hard to find, but I did find a place in Streamwood that carries them.  If you're interested let me know and I'll dig up the info on the store.  I think it's called Organica but I can't remember the address.

Tomorrow I go to my 2nd pre-op class at the Wellness Institute at 10:15.  If your office is anywhere near there, let me know - I'll bring a drink or two with me and give it to you so you can try it out.  I'll check my email in the morning before I leave for the train at 7:15.

Thanks so much!! Actually, my offfice is out in Bolingbrook (horrible long drive from the city!). Good luck with the pre-op class. Any update from Roseann? Actually, there is one favor I have to ask. I haven't been to Welllness in a while, so if you could grab a flier and let me know when the August and Sept support groups are, that would be great. I think I might actually end up in another Thurs class in the Fall (UGH!!!). Stupid classes! If I can't make it to support group then we'll have to meet for coffee before someday at the hospital  when I am on my way to class and you to support group.  Have a great day!!

You don't work too far at all from where I live - I live in Downers Grove.  Too bad we're going in the opposite directions.  I'll get back to you with the August and September dates.  I only heard from Roseann once when she called to let me know she was sending everything in to the insurance company.  That's just been a week so it's too early for me to harrass her yet.  She was actually pretty encouraging when I spoke to her.  I have Blue Cross Blue Shield of CA and she said they have better luck with BCBS when it's not the Illinois company.  Weird, but good for me.
