Tuesday Roll Call

Good morning to all of you fine IL board members. How is everyone this morning? Well, Monica needs to return an important phone call to the Kane Center this morning. Let's all keep all of our fingers and toes crossed that it is to say that she is approved.  Keep Pam S niece in your prayers as she goes through a very trying time as a young person.  Mary W sister is recovering from a surgery today.  Shelly's grandmother needs our prayers also. Keep Dee in your prayers that the State handles the budget correctly and her husband is back getting paid. Christina needs prayer for strength to take care of Calvin. And then they need wisdom as to how to handle getting Amanda here from the east coast.  Lucy, any word on the interview? If I did not mention someone please jump in and fill the rest in on what is going on in your family's lives. Does anyone have anything special going on today? Just work for me. Hi Mary, Hi Chris....Great minds think a like?  LOL   today is pre-op visit,   I have ALL my homework done! hope I get a A....Alex is going to my oldest daughters' house to stay, that will be a good thing, still haven't told her dad!  thanks for all your prayers and support!    Lucy do you have a new job?  Shelley hope your grandma is ok...Mary sound lik your sister will be ok too!  Dee things will work out fine   seems like the state always finds money... can't believe that it's almost here!  and I am SO glad i decided to use Dr.Rosen!   What a great move that was on my part! it may have been the only thing smart I've done this year!      thanks to all of you for all your prayers and support!   Pam

I am still as excited for you as I had said a few weeks back.  I love to shepard my flock!   So, fill us in on what transpired at your pre op apt. I know that you probably did A+, not just an A. Do you know if you will be open or lap? Just a thought that popped into my mind a couple of minutes ago. Chris

Good Morning Chris and the rest of IL -

 

Looks like many of us are going thru some trying times.  (((BIG HUGS)))  Just remember, "This too shall pass". Today is going to be a busy day at work.    The saga continues with what is best for my stepdaughter.  We are now seeking outside counseling so Calvin and I can make sure we are doing the right thing for  Amanda.  Where is the dang book that tells you what's right / wrong???  I have pretty strong opinions and I'm not budging.  I have a confession:  I can be one stubborn biatch.  LOL   Look out.   Chris, Lucy...  I was so excited for about 2minutes last night then if fizzled out.  I don't for the life of me know why but I tried on the lime green top and jacket that Lucy gave me.  Oh my gosh!  It fits.  Yeppers.  Large jacket, med top.  Now, I will admit that the jacket does have some stretch to it.  The britches on the other hand looked like I had painted them on.  Yikes.     Maybe another 20 or 30lbs and they should look really nice.  Of course, the downfall is, it will be Christmas when the Capri's fit.  LOL  Oh well, it is what it is.  I do have to say that it was a pretty cool wow moment for me.  I hope everyone has a great day!! WOWWWWWWWWWW!!! Christina, I am so happy for you. See I told you that you would be able to wear the green outfit! Wear it even if the pants are tight. Sometimes, that will make you look slimmer in the legs. I can say that I wear my clothes a lot tighter than I used to. You can still wear this outfit through October.  I am so proud of you and your accomplishments, See, the dear Lord is watching over you. Now aren't you glad you took it with you? Please give Calvin my best regards and tell him that I am thinking of him - for a speedy recovery as well as his daughter that it all gets worked out and settled soon. Love, Lucy

Hey, do not look at what you cannot do with wearing the capris but look at where you have come from with being able to get into the top and jacket. You could probably get a pair of navy blue capris to go with the rest of the outfit and still be able to wear it this summer.  Look forward to seeing U on Thursday. Have you heard from Jeannie lately? I miss her. Chris

I totally agree with Lucy that you can wear these pieces through mid October. Go for it girlfiriend.  Chris
