Tuesday Roll Call

Good morning Chris, Christina, Pam S., Mary, Carla, Dee. Shelly.. if I missed anyone.. I am sorry.  Continued prayers for everyone as we all seem to be going through some trying times now. I'm still waiting to hear about the job one way or the other. Yikes, it's getting to me! I'm trying to keep a positive attitude here. I'm not going through anything like some of you are. No special plans for today just work, exercise and staying focused. Thursday I've got plans to meet up with Val and Jeanette at Woodfield Mall for dinner and lots of chatting. My mom is back from her trip to Vancouver and now her right knee is acting up. She had a left knee replacement late March this year. She's going to see the orthopedic surgeon on Friday. I sure hope she doesn't need to go through another operation so soon. It's been too much for her!

Oh well, at my job and hate it! Thankful for my WLS and social life now. Those have been a blessing. Pam, I know you're surgery date is almost here... If you want to chat, PM me. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Well definitely have to get together and do some shopping! Everyone have a great day! Try to keep cool in this heat.. Think SNOW! Although I hate snow unless I can be indoors watching it fall from a picture window, sitting by the fireplace with a hot beverage. No visits to the plastic surgeon, my cutie, sexy do****il August 13th. Oh, what will I wear?? I got nearly 2 weeks to decide! Hugs and Love, Lucy

No SNOW - what am I talking about I do not even drive to work, I walk, ROFL Dave and I go see our good doc on August 8th, he (Dr Steve) is just going to have to be satisfied with everyday clothes.  How did you and your mom enjoy Vancouver? Dave and I loved it when we were there on a cruise stop in '05. I hope your mom does not have too much discomfort with her knees.  Chris

Hi Chris. Everyday clothes for Dr. Steve... well don't you have some new undies from Victoria Secret to wear?  I love that icon! I loved the 2 days I was in Vancouver. My mom though since she was in pain and the weather was lousy wasn't happy there this time. I got there before she did and had lovely weather. My mom is the type that has to do her housework no matter what or how she is feeling. Some of the discomfort is from her own doing. She is very stubborn! SNOW sounds good now with this HOT weather. We could eat SNOWcones! Take care and enjoy this evening. Lucy

Hey, sweet lady, you have a lovely evening also. Yeah, I do have some new undies but Dave will be in the room with me because he is having a PO visit that he had to cancel about a month ago. That's alright - I am going to have him take off some moles on my neck that aggravate me with my uniform shirt collar. Actually, I scratch them in my sleep so it is not just the uniform shirt. Chris

Hi Everyone!!!!  I am sitting here waiting to hear from the bariatric nurse... Gosh why does it take soooooo long...I am anxious and need to get back on to doing daily things.. I am tired all the time and my knees and back hurst ugh... Any ways I am just going to try and clean the house and do laundry that is way over do...Thanks everyone for listening ... Happy Tuesday All! I just got in from a long walk with my dog.  Boy is it hot and steamy out there.  I like it warm but once it gets to be 90 or above that's just too much for me. We were only out for about 30 minutes and I downed a whole 1/2 liter bottle of water while we were out. Now I'm just fooling around on the web while I wait to go to my PT appointment.  Looking forward to the massage (ah!)

Yes, it is nasty heat wise. The uniform of the day in my opinion should be shorts. I rode my bike home at lunch and could not stand the tug of war I had with the polyester fabric I had on when I got back into the AC, you get the picture. It was horrible. Who invented that stuff?  Chris

Good afternoon all- hope you all are having a great day.  Saw my surgeon and he says all looks well, but he's concerned about the night fevers so he drew labs.  I have to go back Thursday   and he says the pain is to be expected because he really had to do some digging- again I was full of junk that wasn't found in the May surgery as it was a different area.  So all I can do is heat and pain killers.  And I don't do well  on that stuff-my thought processes tend to go a bit awry.  Hope all is going well for everyone- your all in my prayers-Janet K
