Tuesday Roll Call

No-when the pain and nausea started I called his office and got Dr. Wallace, who advised me to get over to CDH ASAP as he guessed my GB was going and that it is quite common in WLS patients.  Dr. Rantis couldn't do mine in May for fear of infection.  The surgeon who did my bowel re-section and colostomy, then the reverse and hernia repair in 2004, did me and he is in a class like Dr. Rantis, in fact, they are buddies.  My abdomen's been around the block more times than a bad woman!I have to go back Thurs., until then me and the couch and the pooch!  Thanks so much for your concern-Hugs-Janet

Good evening all!!  Sorry I'm checking in so late today.  Had an appointment with Dr. Rosen this morning.  He put another .5 mL in my band.  So I now have 1.5 mLs in my 4 mL band.  Can't really say how it's working since I have to do liquids for 24 hours.  Although I really haven't been hungry.  Need to work on getting more fluids in.  I don't have another appointment with him until our support group meeting in September.  Then I meet with the whole team again.   Speaking of our support group meeting.  Did everyone know they switched our speaker for September?  It's now going to be Joey doing "exercising during the holidays".  Dr. Rosen was telling me about the change at my appointment today. Thanks for continued prayers for my Grandma.  Her pancreatitis is better but she has now developed pneumonia from not moving while in the hospital.  So she will be in a little while longer getting antibiotics.  My Aunt from California has left to go visit my Aunt that is dying from cancer.  The Aunt from California will be back down when Grandma get released from the hospital.  It remains to be seen though if Grandma is going to get another chance to get up to see my dying Aunt. Well I need to get going or I'm going to be dragging for my first day back at work in two months!!  Won't be checking bac****il either late tomorrow night of Thursday morning.  Depends on how tired I am after my first day back.  Wish me luck.
