Roll Call Wednesday
GM Monica -
No power = no internet.. I would not know what to do! LOL
Getting ready for the garage sell sound like work to me. But of course, it will all pay off when you have $$$ to play on your vacation.
I bet you're chompin at the bit to get started on that sup diet. The quicker you get started, the sooner it will finished.
Thanks for the continued prayers. I'm going to the library after work to pick up some books on tape. I'm hoping that will help since I'm traveling alone. I'm going to have some down time if anyone needs to talk.
Have a great day!

Hi Christina! WOW ... good luck to Calvin on the beginning of his journey ... I'm glad he may have the opportunity for surgery, and that may just be the beginning of his new life, and allow him to be treated for the hep c ... geez, all that is quite a lot ... but one step that leads to another can take us to places we've only dreamed of! (ok, I need more coffee, I'm a bit too philosophical and mushy this morning).
Anyway, I haven't kept up on the Amanda-story, I'll have to go back and re-read. I got a little from Chris' response, and although I don't know the situation, I felt a tug at my heart ... I've desperately wanted to start a family for over 10 years now, do not really want to consider adoption (at this point), but from what I "know" so far of what you're doing, I am quite touched.
Best to you ... I've got to go "read up".

Hi Karen -
Thank you, Calvin is very excited about taking the first steps. We just hope we don't hit too many road blocks along the way. It would be a blessing if he could have the surgery.
To make a long story short, my 17yr old stepdaughter (Amanda) lost her mother to a massive heart attack on June 30th. Amanda currently resided in MD and we are torn with the decision do we let her stay and finish out her senior year or bring her back to live with us. It's been quite a decision to make. Of course Amanda wants to stay in MD. So, after consulting w/ all the family as well as a professional that specializes in teens / grieving. We have decided that it's in her best interest to move to IL and be with us.
It's probably going to be a pretty ugly weekend but we'll get thru it.
I wish I could meet you for coffee next Wed. Good Luck w/ your appointment.

Hello everyone....
I needed to post again and tell everyone I am kinda down today my knees hurt and my back hurts and I am tired of being overweight.. I feel as though I do nothing with my children anymore and nothing with my DH...I just wish I didn't hurt all the time and I had more energy... I get up and dread doing anything... I am sorry that is just how I am feeling today and I am not sure what to do... Thanks for listening Martha
Hi Martha -
I know the process is long but it will be well worth it. Try to focus on the end result when you're feeling down. I know it stinks not having the energy to do the things you want to. The aches and pains. The feelings of helplessness.
Take it one day at a time and when you can't do that, take things one minute at a time.

Christina!! Here's Ms. Naughty Santa praying for everyone on the Illinois board since there are so many of us facing a dilemma or crisis! God bless everyone!!
I'm still waiting to hear about my job. I left a voice message for the HR consultant to see where they are at in the process. I'm hanging in there by a thread as far as work goes. It gets harder and harder to come into work.
My social life is on the upswing. I am going to meet someone new on Friday. Met him also on sugardaddie. So far, Andy is like my steady. We've been out 4 times. I will be talking with John who is from Ohio. We linked up at sugardaddie but I was going on vacation and when I was coming back, he was on vacation. So we crossed paths... Yikes, I've got to keep the names straight.
I'm still in touch with Will from London. Talked with him last Friday night.
I can make a ton of lemonade
.
Take care and say hi to Calvin for me!
Lucy

Hi Ms. Naughty Santa... I'm so happy you are enjoying the dating seen. I really don't know how you keep them straight. I would be spitting out the wrong name all the time.
I hope you get some good news on the job soon. The waiting game really stinks.
I will tell Calvin you said hello. I hope you have a fantastic day!
Christina
