Hi Melissa, I'm also new, my name is Tracy, my surgery is scheduled for sept 24th, the gastric bypass, and i too am doing the protein shake diet, I have to do it for 2 weeks how bout you. i have definetely been less hungry throughout life for sure, but i just stay positive and keep my eyes on the prize..haha,
