Grateful post

Hi everyone!   Sorry that I haven't let you know what's happening, but let me update you.......I have canceled my surgery for tomorrow due to a couple different things. First off I had gotten scoped monday and there was a spot that was sent off to be checked, the result came back just fine but I was caught off guard and was worried to death.....had 24 hours to think about it and it shook me up....(this happened to my friend this summer, turned out to be cancer...was just a spot!) And then to add to my self inflicted pressure, I gave my niece Alex some money to go home to be with her mom, and I took her shopping...always good therapy no matter what, so I took a hit in my finances.  To sum everything up....I've had a pretty bad week!   I want everyone to know that I have the BEST surgeon!   Along with his staff!  I talked to him a couple times yesterday and he was good with my decision also!  We are post-poning and I am going to talk with him later.  I am so blessed to have him. As far as OH.....aren't we all lucky for this site and the gateway it provides for support and friends?   You guys all are a lifeline! I have no idea what I would do with out every one of you!  you all complement each other!   Thank you!   and thanks for wishing me the best for friday......now that's support!   but I will let everyone know stuff later....right now it's kind of hard because it doesn't seem like I can get to that loosers bench.    But a least I know this time I have the best working for me!   I'm sorry, feel as though I'm letting people down.....but thank you for being in my life!    Pam

Hi Pam. I was starting to worry about you as I know that you are a regular poster here. You gotta do what you gotta do girl. I'm sorry that you had to go through the scope thing. I'm sure that the time you had to wait for the results seemed long. You took care of your niece who needed you. What can I say? The time for your WLS has to be the right time for you and no one else. We're all here supporting you in whatever decision you make. You can count on us! We love you Pam . Keep us posted on your journey and anything else you would like to share. God bless! Dear Pam: Sorry to hear of your postponement (sp?) but you have to do what is right for you. We will all be here to support you no matter what.  I am sorry to hear that your week was bad, but things will get better, they always do. Wishing you nothing but good things!

Pam, All I can say is big (((((((HUG))))))))).  If you ever need to talk or vent, you know where to come, and don't worry, you already are a loser, you have decided what to do for your life, and you will have the surgery before you know it. Dee

GM Pam - I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason.  I'm very relieved to hear that the spot came back fine.  Its scary stuff especially when you have seen people you love battle cancer etc. Your niece needed you.  She needs to be with her mother thru this difficult time she is facing.  God Bless you for being so selfless.  

 

Get up, brush yourself off and move forward.  Today is a new day.  We all have crappy days, weeks, months, and years.  Follow your heart and when/if the time comes that you want to have wls, you can do it.  Don't think you let anyone down hon.. This is a personal decision that only you can make and if your heart is not in it then you need to wait. Sounds like you need to take a road trip.  I'm heading out today around three if you want to get away  ((BIG HUGS)) Christina

LOL.. That would be fun.  It's 720miles one way I hope your day is going a little better.  Was it the cleansing that scared you away from surgery tomorrow?  Come on, come clean.  You should of been taking your first bottle about now!  LOL

you just wanted to use that smiley    lol   never noticed that face on it....lol    and yes....you have busted me!   it was the draino solution that had me running......... be careful of roaming charges!    got nailed on that before!
