Friday Roll Call
Revision on 04/19/13
Happy Friday to all, everyone seems that they have some sorta plans for this weekend,Hopefully the humidity will drop a bit.
We will be having a racing weekend. Saturday night we will be going to the LaSalle Track for drag races, then Sunday, we will be heading to Arlington Park for the horse races. We haven't been there in about 5 years, so its exciting to go. Today, its just pickup and errands. Have a good weekend, Lisa
Happy Friday afternoon to one and all. I was a little swamped at work today and could not get on until now.
Dave and I head out for a little walk here in awhile to a local pizza joint that has a deck that we can sit on and enjoy the rest of the Itasca residents (which basically I know most of them or can tell tails about them, HAHA!!).
It was a nice, STRESSFUL day at work. The nice part was that I was alone, could listen to my own christian music station on the web and we (those working the shift) all pitched in and paid for 'burgers that the sergeant cooked on the newly purchased department grill.
The stressful part(s) is that it is the beginning of the month & it is my turn to do the department statistics for crime and traffic enforcement. I am not real comfortable with using Excel - but can FAKE my way around the program. In addition to that I barely scratched the surface of the Friday regular work that came into my office today. I brought some work home, but that can wait for tomorrow.
Now, my weekend will be a little slower than it usually is. I will help Dave serve lunch to the production team at church tomorrow. We will stay for the service because he has to usher at 5:30pm. On Sunday we will return to Willow so Dave can serve dinner for the rehearsal team that will be there in the evening. We have a large leadership conference starting next week. The largest part of it is that it will be videocast (via satelite) to 100,000 people around the US & world. There will probably be about 7,200 people on our church campus.
Take care,
Christine
