Chris, it didn't go well with the hats.  As a matter of fact I didn't get any actually finished.  I was having a very hard time with needles breaking.  Like I said, hats are a pain in the butt to do.  They have to be done by the 16th though, that's when they are being picked up!

Good Morning. I have no plans at all for today , except do some more housework.  But, before I start on that, I intend to take my decafe to the porch and listen to the birds and watch the traffic on the hyway, about 1/4 block from me. I may go shopping later, if not, it can be done tomorrow. No big plans for the weekend either. I might join my kids for breakfast on Sunday. DH is working his usual , I do wish he could find some help, that will actually show up on time and want to work. He has 3. but the 4th person would relieve some of the extra hours, so he could be off some weekends.  Have a great day,  Lisa

Hi Lisa - I wish I could join you on your porch this morning.. What a lovely way to start the day.  It's something I don't take time to do but I love nature and it's nice to just be still and listen to the birds.  I hope you have a nice day.

I would have loved to sit with you on the porch and drink my java and watch the birdies. That is one of my favorite past times. It is so relaxing. Hope it was great for you and then you got lots accomplished in the house.

Good morning IL~ Today I'm not doing to much!  The Boone County Fair did me in yesterday!  As I said yesterday....it was my 8th wedding anniversary yesterday and DH got me a bike.  I took a bike ride last night w/ Maddie and I found a full size soccer net at the street that said FREE.  I can home and talk DH to go get it, so the kids and I can play soccer in the yard.  He said the only thing is that I have to clean the garage out today.....so that's what I'm doing!   Yesterday when everyone was talking about the kids going back to school on the board, I started to cry!  I can't believe my little Maddie will be going off to kindergarden!  I am a MESS!!!!!!!!  She has been in my life full time for 5 years and it's so hard to believe that she is growing up and I will have to put her on the school bus by herself!!!  Okay..I have to stop..I feel the tears!!   I plan to do some house work and clean the garage. Hope everyone has a great day.

But, the way you were done in at the fair feels so great that you say that you had fun with the kids and you were out and walking and building memories. I love fairs. We try to get to the one in Sandwich every year but this year is probably out.

KIM -  ((BIG HUGS))  I bet it is hard to think Maddie is going to school this fall.  She will love it and you will learn to enjoy your down time too.   Wow.. I hope you get a call soon about your insurance.  I'm keeping all body parts crossed for ya. I'm glad you got the bike.  I bought a bike last fall, about three months after surgery.  I was so gun hole about it and man.. I wanted a refund that day.  It was not all it was cut up to be.  It about killed me.  10mo later, I love it.  Funny how things change over time and when you have less to carry around. Have a great day. Christina

I love my Raleigh that I bought at 3 months out. It is the most comfortable bike I have ever had. The neat thing is that it is not too heavy for even me to lift onto the bike carrier on my car.
