Good morning everyone!!! Have you missed me?  Not only did my home computer get the bug (it is still down), but Tuesday during the big storm, we had no access here at work either.  I have been very busy trying to catch up.

The most exciting thing that is happening to me right now is that Todd and I are trying to plan a trip to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary on the 15th of October.  Long story short---he had wanted to surprise me and go to Mexico, but we do not have passports and now it is too late to get them.  SOOOOOO we are trying to figure out where to go within the USA.  We have looked at Hawaii, but I think that is more expensive than we want to go (although it WOULD be nice.....)  We have talked about Key West, Charleston, Myrtle Beach, San Fransisco, Padre Island, TX and whatever else we can think of.  Any suggestions for a weeklong romantic vacation in the fall that is not too expensive?  I think he wants to spend less than $ 2,500.00. Chris and Dave, it sounds like you have a wonderful weekend planned. Christina, take a break and get some well deserved rest!

Pam and Monica, glad to hear that you are on your way to becoming healthy and fit! Did anyone hear if Lucy got the job? Everyone else-----have a great day!

Tell someone that you love them!

Hi Dawn - Yes, you have been missed!  Sorry to hear about the computer problems.  Ahhhh... A real vacation sound lovely right now.  I'm not much of a traveler so anything sounds good to me.  Calvin and I go to Galena, IL and stay at the Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa a few times a year.  We rent a villa that sits on the golf course and it's just a nice relaxing time away from the everyday hustle and bustle.  This year I'm hoping to do a hot air balloon ride when we go to Galena for our wedding anniversary.. Sept 19th. Can't wait to hear where you decide to go. Christina

Morning all, I recieved some bad ews last night about my ex mother in law so now I have yo take my kids to Mochigan after my son's first football game on Saturday. You see she has brain cancer and I just found out she has 1 month to live. I was just out there in the beginning of July but I did want to take the kids out there before my son started football but that didn't happen because my ho****er tank went. So now I have to scrap up the money to go. Well I'll be on tommorrow but after that I will be on sometime Monday. Hope everyone has a good day; I need all the prayers not to deck my EX because it was his ex wife that told me about it; he didn't have the decency to call or email me. Oh well

Hey Melissa - Sorry to hear about your Mother-in-law..  I'll keep everyone in my prayers.  What a terrible thing.  You just keep your cool young lady and don't deck ex-hubby.  It's not worth it and if you're anything like me, I don't look good in orange jump suits! Hang in there sweetie.. It's not going to be an easy trip on you or the kids. Christina

Thak you for your support, Yes it will be hard; the drive is at least 6 1/2 hours; it just frustrating that my ex goes cryig to everyoe telling them how much he misses my kids and he has my son's cell phone number but never uses it. My ex mother in law told me last year how proud she is of me because her son basically ruined me and I lifted myself out of the rubble and got remarried. they(my ex in laws and ex jerk) knows that my kids kow my hubby as dad and my ex as Bill and my hubby will adopt my kids as soon as we come up with the money. But enough ranting about my ex; sorry to by such a downer!!  Thaks for being here for me

Since you guys are looking to go in the fall...how about Galena, IL.  It is beautiful at that time of the year!  I would suggest staying at Eagle Ridge resort.  It is also a plus if you guys golf, because it's a gollf resot.  Or how about Las Vegas???  If you don't gamble to much, it could be a very romantic place.  Thats were my DH and I got married 8 years ago yesterday!  If you don't want to stay on the strip, I would suggest the Gold Nugget.  They just put 3 million dollors in the pool area and it is to die for!!  Just a few suggestions! Galena sounds OK to me, but he seems to want to GO somewhere, preferably with beaches, I think......I told him that anywhere would be fine, even a cozy cabin in Wisconsin, but he seems to want to go further....... The search is still on........

My sweetie thinks going to Springfield is just the berries.  I don't think there is anything about Honest Abe and his family I'm not familiar with.  Of course we have to bring the dog , and then for real thrills we go shopping at the Super Wal-Mart.  I am usually so glad just for a change of scenery that I just get in the car and go.  I must say though, the new Lincoln Museum is awesome.  Have you given New England a thought?  It sure is pretty at that time of year, there is plenty to do and the seafood is to die for.  I grew up in Boston so I am partisan.  Have fun planning-Janet K

I vote for Charleston. We were planning on going there this year but other things came up. It is so full of history.  Yes, you were missed. I was just thinking about you this morning after I went to work. How is the flooding out there by you? I forgot to ask one of our officers that lives in Loves Park how things were with her. She is not in a low area so I think everything is ok. Anyways, I think she would have said something this morning when she was picking up reports for summary supension hearings for her DUI court today.

Yes we will have a great time - we are planning on it.
