Thursday Roll Call
Good morning everyone!!! Have you missed me? Not only did my home computer get the bug (it is still down), but Tuesday during the big storm, we had no access here at work either. I have been very busy trying to catch up.
The most exciting thing that is happening to me right now is that Todd and I are trying to plan a trip to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary on the 15th of October. Long story short---he had wanted to surprise me and go to Mexico, but we do not have passports and now it is too late to get them. SOOOOOO we are trying to figure out where to go within the USA. We have looked at Hawaii, but I think that is more expensive than we want to go (although it WOULD be nice.....) We have talked about Key West, Charleston, Myrtle Beach, San Fransisco, Padre Island, TX and whatever else we can think of. Any suggestions for a weeklong romantic vacation in the fall that is not too expensive? I think he wants to spend less than $ 2,500.00. Chris and Dave, it sounds like you have a wonderful weekend planned. Christina, take a break and get some well deserved rest!
Pam and Monica, glad to hear that you are on your way to becoming healthy and fit! Did anyone hear if Lucy got the job? Everyone else-----have a great day!

Since you guys are looking to go in the fall...how about Galena, IL. It is beautiful at that time of the year! I would suggest staying at Eagle Ridge resort. It is also a plus if you guys golf, because it's a gollf resot. Or how about Las Vegas??? If you don't gamble to much, it could be a very romantic place. Thats were my DH and I got married 8 years ago yesterday! If you don't want to stay on the strip, I would suggest the Gold Nugget. They just put 3 million dollors in the pool area and it is to die for!! Just a few suggestions! Kim
I vote for Charleston. We were planning on going there this year but other things came up. It is so full of history. Yes, you were missed. I was just thinking about you this morning after I went to work. How is the flooding out there by you? I forgot to ask one of our officers that lives in Loves Park how things were with her. She is not in a low area so I think everything is ok. Anyways, I think she would have said something this morning when she was picking up reports for summary supension hearings for her DUI court today.
Yes we will have a great time - we are planning on it.
